[17: 00, Capital Hospital]

“You are really not going home?” Levian asked Sherry for the umpteenth time.

“I can’t, Mr. Smith,” Sherry shook her head. “At least for today, I need to be here.”

Although Victor Khas was in stable condition; his vital signs showed improvement, and she knew that there was a possibility of complications arising. At least for 24 hours, he needed to be under constant monitoring.

In case any emergency was to occur, she had to be here to take care of it. Considering this patient was a VIP patient and an important associate of Levian, she wanted no mistakes in his care.

“There are other doctors who can do that,” Levian tried to persuade her. “Does it have to be you?”

“Yes, it has to be me,” Sherry lightly chuckled before adding, “Remember, I am his surgeon.”

“Well…you can go home, take a warm shower, and eat something warm,” Levian sighed. “They will call for you if there are any complications.”
