No More Nightmares!

Sherry's eyelids fluttered closed, savoring the embrace that was both comforting and searing. It felt as though her heart had melted into a warm puddle in his arms-washing away every doubt, fear, and restlessness in her heart.

‘Idiot!’ Sherry wanted to scold him gently, wondering why he'd gone to such lengths for someone as insignificant as her. While her own people constantly betrayed her, this human-sized teddy bear equivalent of a guy was taking in every pain in her stead as if he had developed a hobby for it.

“Idiot!” her voice was low, almost inaudible when she scolded him.

“Tell me more,” Levian heaved a sigh of relief, knowing the fact he was holding her in his arms, her body pressed against his and the little lady was scolding him like a mother scolding her child.

“What kind of idiot I am hmm?” He asked as he hugged her tighter as if the closeness was still not enough.
