Old Friends Meet Again!

Sherry closed her eyes and took a deep breath, clearing her mind. "They deceived me before," she said, opening her eyes. "Now, it's my turn to unravel all the lies they had wrapped around me."

"Miss, any idea how we're getting in?" Roy asked, his brows furrowed as his eyes darted around the door in confusion. Sherry's uncle and aunt couldn't enter the rooms in this wing. It was because they did not have the key and, they simply couldn’t break down the door.

Sherry blindly trusted them, so she would have handed it over ages ago if she had the key, no questions asked.

“We aren’t going to break the door, are we?” he asked nervously.

Sherry turned to look at him as if she was looking at someone stupid. Without bothering to reply to him, she took off the cover of her phone.

"I-Is that?" Roy's eyes widened in astonishment as he caught sight of a gold-plated key hidden within the phone case.

“Yes,” Sherry finally spoke. “It’s the master key of this villa.”
