"Tell me did my mother send you?"

There was a bit of silence at that very moment. His mind was already in too much trouble, with the tip of the sword against his neck but then it hit him...

And it did hit him only then and there...

"Are you the Princess? "

Ambrosia only pierced the tip of her sword more against his skin and he hissed out.

But it was enough to confirm his doubts. He looked down at her feet and he could see that they were not touching the ground. She was levitating in the air just like the last time when they had their first encounter.

Ambrosia followed his gaze and it drew upon her as if he was analyzing her stature. To her, he was no ordinary man. She had to be heedful of him and every action.

Neither could she use her weapons to kill him because that would become an  easy bait for Hamza to trace her whereabouts right away.

She backed out and it made Ruqui, although stilled in his movement, shocked.

A line of red blood erupted out from his wound where the tip of the blade was pointed.

The Princess moved backward creating enough distance between the two of them.

If she needed to get rid of this man, she had to make use of her ability, such that no traces would be left in the vicinity of the action.

Ruqui was not sure about what was going to be the next move of the powerful vampiress standing before him, her fiery eyes trained on him.

The power that she felt, coursing through her veins, as her eyes remained fixed upon the man on the ground, deceiving her about his identity, she felt herself uncontrolled.

Her head, her face, her limbs, her entire body felt as if it was on fire. Her slightly moving hands in the air could feel the warmth on them.

Ruqui could see that something was happening to the princess, as she remained static there, up, levitating in the air.

It felt as if it was consuming her entire body, losing her own self to the power within her.

"Burn! Burn! Burn!"

The whispers were like hitting her eardrums back and forth to the point that everything else, every noise in the background went deaf to her ears.

It was not a power. It was her ability. An ability that she had not yet learned to master it herself.

They say that as the vampires grew older, they would get ahold of their abilities far better than before.

But in her case, it was not the same. She was getting very well at learning other abilities and projecting them but not her own.

Often times, it also scared her that it would be something she could not be able to control it once it was out.

Her fighting skills, interlinked with others had made her the greatest known warrior alive to slay the extraterrestrials within the kingdom.

She did not even have to make use of her own ability for that matter. That part had always remained dormant in herself, unexplored and unknown.

As she felt the warmth and burning feeling taking all over her body and entire senses, a string ray of fire erupted out from her fiery eyes, her hands shaking, and shivering.

"Ruqui!!!"

It was that scream that made her break out of her reverie, injecting her senses back into her and it was only then she saw it.

There was no time for recreation at that moment. The damage had already been done.

The sting ray of fire had melted the snowy cap of the mountain in the front and it was only then, she realized that she had aimed it wrongly.

But how could it be?

She gazed at the ground and the man was not there anymore. She turned around to see not just him, but another person too, a woman, to be exact, who was hugging him as if her life was depended on it.

She did not even have one bit of clue as to when that woman had appeared here or how did he ran up to there.

It was exactly the same when she came back to the capitol, feeling at her lowest than she had ever felt, defeated and dejected, not being able to save her crew, and when she saw Hamza on the pedestal, being praised by the crowd, she could not just hold it in herself.

When the entire flesh of his right hand was burnt, only then did she realize what she had done.

The crowd thought it was intentional from her side. It was the assault of her powerful ability that had no match with others and that was how it was assumed to be for so long.

They looked like as if they were related and her actions must have scared them to their cores.

She felt like an Outlander before their scrutinizing gazes and decided that it was at best, she left that place immediately.

"Wait!!! Who are you?"

It made her halt in mid-air. She swirled around to face the duo back again. It was the woman, who had asked the question.

"Cynthira...no!"

He tried to stop his sister from breaking away from his hold and walking up to the most powerful and wild vampiress he had ever come across in his life.

"Don't...she is not safe!"

And his words, unknown to her, yet managed to pierce her skin. He was talking about her as if she was a monster in disguise, if got close, she would harm a mortal woman.

"You are a vampire...are you not?"

Cynthira questioned out of curiosity. It was apparent from the fact that their village had no vampires in it and seeing one always was a matter of shock and something unusual.

"Cynthira! Get back here!"

Ruqui rose up his voice and pulled his sister back towards him. Ambrosia stood there watching them without any clue.

Although how much protective he was about the young mortal woman was concerning.

When he was stopping her from getting close to her yet when he got close to her, to the point of putting his life at risk...the vampire Princess could not understand it.

"Leave me!!! And why should I listen to you?"

Cynthira broke out from her brother's hold, annoyed at him.

"When you did not think twice before leaving the house, the village...leaving your bride to be stranded at the village square!!"
