COCOA CUPS

(JUNGKOOK'S POV)

Another night without sleeping. I can't get off of my mind Jimin has feelings for me, but every time I look at him or talk to him, it looks like he only wants me as a friend. I wanted to ask him if it was true, but I realised it will bring more problems if I pressure him about it. I know Jimin wants to be with Taehyung and Taehyung still hates me.

I walk slowly to the kitchen, opening slightly my eyes. I sit down when I don't see Namjoon around, my body can't take another training session. I look around the kitchen, hoping my breakfast will magically appear.

"Did you eat breakfast already?" Jimin says, coming in.

"No, I'm too tired to make anything. I'll wait for Jin to cook me something."

"I can also make you breakfast," He walks towards the cabinet. "Namjoon put the milk and the cocoa here, somewhere."

"I think Taehyung opened it yesterday."

I open the fridge and there's the milk.

"Here's your cocoa." Jimin put it on the island kitchen.

"Thank you," I say. "Do you want some?"

"There's no more coffee left."

I take that as a 'yes' and start putting the milk in two cups and then the cocoa.

"Should we wake up Hoseok?" I say, but Jimin only looks at me. "You know, so he can warmer it."

"Ah, got it. No, let him sleep. I've the feeling we're not the only ones who died yesterday."

I nod and take the first sip of the cold milk. "We need a microwave asap."

"We need a lot of things asap. If they decided to send us here, they could make sure everything was in good conditions." He rolls his eyes.

I giggle. "Don't be sassy, it could be worse."

"It could be better."

Someone gets in the kitchen, but I don't look up until I take my last sip. Thank God I swallowed with my eyes closed, I could've choked or spit it out just by the sight of Taehyung sitting in front of me.

I put the cup down. His dark eyes stare at me for a few seconds, but he looks away when I don't. Jimin clears his throat, but doesn't say anything. My heart dances, as if it was in a disco, my foot follows him.

I get up, this situation is suffocating me. I put the cup in the sink, but before I get to the living room Taehyung speaks up.

"Don't act like I wasn't here."

I don't dare to turn around, too scared to face him.

"We don't want to make you feel uncomfortable. Do you feel comfortable talking with us?" Jimin asks, softly.

"Not really."

My heart gets another punch. I understand he feels betrayed, but I wish he could be able to move on quickly.

Jimin sighs, but don't say anything else. Me neither.

(SEOKJIN'S POV)

It takes me a couple of minutes to release myself free of Namjoon's arms. I've been awake for a while now and I think this is the best moment for me to look for my answers.

I open the closet, but there are only clothes. I close it and open the other one, that's supposed to be empty because we don't have enough stuff to fill it.

As I expected, it's empty.

I open the first one again. Nothing.

When I'm about to close it, a drawer that I didn't notice before catches my eyes. I look behind me again, he's still deep in his sleep.

I open it, slowly, trying to shush it up as much as possible. But this old furniture always brings problems.

I smirk.

Found it.

I lay next to Namjoon, hugging his chest. Now that are I know where's the information, I've to find a moment without Namjoon around.

I feel slightly bad to do this behind his back, but I need to know everything. I'm going to talk to him again, if he doesn't say anything, I'm going to read it all myself.

(YOONGI'S POV)

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. It doesn't stop and I force myself to sit properly on the bed while reading the ID at the same time.

Shit.

I forgot I told Charles to call me this morning. My intention was to find an excuse to not go training today, but it's past eleven and nobody has come to wake me up. I Guess no training today.

I answer the video call, not caring about my morning looks. He has seen me like this - and worse - lots of times. It's not different today.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty." He laughs.

"Shut up."

"I really woke you up?"

"What do you think?" I say, trying to hide my smile. "Did you eat breakfast?"

"Yeah. I ask if I could have it in my room, people aren't in their best behaviour, if you know what I mean."

I nod. Their situation is worse than ours: some people are trying to find their loved ones, whole families trying to find one person, people trying to find their pets, children trying to find their parents and parents trying to find their children.

"Do you know how many people died?" I bit my lower lip when he doesn't answer. He looks to a side, probably to the window.

"A group who were walking in the mountains that day died. . ." He looks at his lap.

"And?"

"Mrs Black was there. . ."

"Mrs Black is dead?" I say, bluntly.

He nods, still avoiding my gaze.

Mrs Black wasn't one of my favourite teachers, - I don't have any - but it still makes me sad. She could be annoying and loud, but she didn't deserve to die. Nobody does.

"Who else?"

He finally looks at me, he's playful eyes are completely gone. "Um, I don't know if it's true or not, but. . . Do you know Hansoo?"

"Lee Han Soo? Seokjin's friend?" I raise my eyebrows. He can't be dead, not after what we did to take them back home.

"It's just a rumour, though." He shakes one hand.

"It doesn't make sense, he doesn't go to our school, anyway. There's nothing left from Third Heaven?" A possibility shows up. If they did, then there's the possibility Hansoo didn't make it. Red Men already kidnapped him before.

"Almost. But people of other parts of our world where evacuated before they could get there."

"Thank you for telling me this, Charles. I'm going to talk with Namjoon later, also with Jin, he deserves to know."

"Yeah," He nods quickly. "What about you? How is everything there?"

"Good. I'm still tired as fuck because of Namjoon, I'm going to kill him after telling him the news."

Charles chuckles. "I'm sure it's not that bad."

"Yeah, say that again after I show you how professor Namjoon looks like." I roll my eyes and we stay in a comfortable silence for a long moment.

"I miss you." He says.

I look away, my cheeks getting hot. I need a few seconds to put myself together. "I. . . I miss you, too." I say, looking straight to the screen.

It's not easy for me to open up to people about my feelings. Hoseok is the only one who has seen me at my worst, but also at my best. I'm not afraid of showing my emotions when I'm with him, but it never lasts long.

"Are you catching feelings for me, Min?" Flirty Charles is back.

"In your dreams, Nelson." Our laughs fill up the room.

I don't know if I will be able to tell him I like him and I don't know if he truly likes me, or if he's just joking around.

"I'm going to eat something. Talk to you later?"

"I'll be waiting for you."

I wave and hang up, placing my phone again on the bedside table. I open the door and I see Hoseok leaning on his door.

"Did you also wake up now?"

He nods, not looking at me. "I'm going to the bathroom."

I step aside, but he walks towards the living room. I shrug, walking towards the kitchen.

"Good morning. What do we have for breakfast?" I walk around the kitchen. Coffee and some cookies would be enough.

"Cold cocoa." Jimin's looking at his lap.

"Are you still in a bad mood?" I ask.

Jimin and Taehyung are next to each other, but they look far away at the same time.

"You should move on already, everyone knows you're in love. Just kiss and make out."

"It's not that easy." Hoseok walks straight to the fridge.

"What do you know? If they love each other, they can date again."

"Sometimes love isn't enough." Hoseok says, making his own cocoa.

"Whatever." I sit in front of Taehyung. "Now that you're here, can you make one for me and warm it?"

He grabs another cup and I hear him swearing under his nose. He woke up bratty and grumpy today.

He sits next to me, our small breakfast ready.

"Namjoon and Seokjin are still sleeping?" Hoseok asks.

"Weird." I say to myself. "His fault. I don't understand why we've to fight with each other, our enemies don't have the ones we have."

Nobody answers me.

I take the first sip, I close my eyes tightly opening my mouth after swallowing it. "The hell Hobi, this is burning!"

"Not my fault." He keeps drinking his, that's not as hot as mine. His attitude tells me he did it on purpose. I sigh, resting my head in the marble, I'm going to deal with it later.
