[Personal History]

Born on July 6, 2051, to Dr. Jonah Chronia and Professor Catherine Chronia in their home province, Ephraim was already noted to have a high-level of IQ when he was a year old after his father noticed that he can notice and arrange patterns in flash cards that his father usually use in IQ tests.

After admitting him straight into elementary school when he was four years old, Ephraim's parents also home schooled him to learn more complex lessons just after he has learned about the basic concepts at school, letting him learn basic algebra just after encountering multiplication and division. By the age of eight, he was the youngest taker and passer of the ACES admission test with the final total score of 187 out of 195, only five points less than the national best score that his father attained 18 years ago when he was ten years old.

By the time Ephraim was about to enter Kuroyama Colonial University though, the economy of numerous Asian nations faced a recession, and with little to no possibility of his research study bearing fruit in the country, and the fact that his wife is pregnant with their second child, Dr. Jonah left for Japan, leaving the side of his family in order to provide for their needs abroad.

According to medical records of Professor Catherine Chronia, she began to frequently experience weakness and nausea which she thought was just caused by her pregnancy and weariness for her husband. But it soon became apparent that it wasn't the case after she learned about the death of her in Japan and was brought in by her son who hoisted her onto his shoulders and ran for two kilometers after the hospital's ambulance dispatcher mistook his call as a prank call. (Said dispatcher was fired after a week of investigation.)

Records became scant after this event as Professor Catherine gave birth and raised her daughter inside the walls of her private room. It is said that a former colleague of Dr. Jonah who owns the hospital and hospice let her have the room for free as her sickness made her bedridden for life. As for her son, visitation records consistently show that Ephraim comes every other day to her mother alongside a young woman or young man who is acting as Ephraim's guardian at the university.

The young woman's name is [REDACTED], while the young man's name is [REDACTED]. Both are said to be informal settlers in Old Manila's former casino quarter and were reported to be the guardians of Ephraim during his university years. He stayed under their protection for four years until both were reportedly killed by anti-government rebels who discovered [REDACTED]'s identity and intended to hold her hostage. [REDACTED] fought against the rebels but ended up dying alongside [REDACTED] to shield Ephraim from the gunfire.

Ephraim was later found by the local church worker alongside [REDACTED], [REDACTED] and Father Crisostomo Pineda who was there to marry his two guardians. Strangely enough, although Ephraim's testimony and the numerous bullet casings found on the site came from [REDACTED]'s service firearm showed that there was an exchange of fire from the two sides, there was not a single dead rebel's body on the scene nor is there any trace that they successfully escaped from the place. To this day, investigations are still being done.

Ephraim will later finish his ACES Bachelor course in Kuroyama Colonial University and continued towards his Doctorate degree in the National Academy of Medicine at age twelve. Due to his ACES-rated prerequisite degree, his Doctorate degree was shortened to two years, which earned the ire of his schoolmates because he will be skipping on the mandatory Reserve Officer's Training Corps service. The academy directors reprimanded the protestors that sending a twelve-year-old boy into basic military training is absurd, but even if logic and appearances are against them, the ringleaders insisted to not let Ephraim be admitted to the school unless he joins the ROTC service. He would later voluntarily join and proceed to become the commanding officer of his class, adding injury to his dissenters' shame.

Ephraim and a scant number of students from his batch later received their diplomas at a small graduation ceremony in a small meeting hall. The reason why only thirty-seven out of seven hundred students graduated was due to a chemical attack at a disco where most of the students came to celebrate their coming graduation, not knowing that the fog machines was rigged to emit poisonous gas. The person(s) responsible for the attack was never found or punished.

The National Intelligence and Surveillance Agency would later offer a work contract for him as a field medic and surgeon. Only deployed at clandestine operations and missions that are away from the public eye, Ephraim's enlistment would be covered deeply in secret by the NISA in fear of scrutiny if it is discovered that a child officer is working among their ranks. Contributions to the agency was labeled as top-secret, although declassified documents state that "a young officer was instrumental to a few major victories against anti-government and separatist rebels.". He would later request and be given an honorable discharge from the agency at age sixteen.

At the moment of this writing, Ephraim Seliah Chronia has settled down in Japan and was forced to attend a local high school to revalidate his ACES certification and worker's license. He has also been recorded to have taken in three children from a deceased friend and working at a local restaurant as a chef.
