Handling The Politics

Aiden made his way to the backside of the facility to see the woman from earlier standing there with a hard expression on her face.

Behind her, a green-colored portal raged around. It was at least 10 feet tall and was roaming at a really fast speed.

"So she didn't make it." She muttered before turning back and moving inside the green portal.

The entire thing vanished the second the woman stepped inside it. Aiden was now left standing in the empty hall. 

'What was that place?' 

Before the portal had vanished, Aiden had caught a glance of a burning field. The entire place had been burning with bright orange flames but that was all he could see.

But now that he had seen it, Aiden couldn't get the image of the place out of his mind.

After going back to the place, Aiden was suddenly shocked. Both his mother and the black-haired woman were lying on the floor.
