After a long day at school, the bell finally rang. And as I was heading back home, I saw a beautiful girl, getting shouted at by a lady outside a store.
After the lady left, she was left there alone in the rain. I approached and I asked her:

“What are you doing out in the rain?”

I asked, but it didn't seem like she would tell me anything. So, I gave up, and was about to leave. But I couldn’t help myself from worrying about her. So, I went back and forced an umbrella into her hands and sprinted back home. I heard her shout, but I just ignored it.

The next day, I got sick. And as I was about to open the door to my house, I see her come to me.
“Did you get sick because of me?”
“No”

She didn’t listen to me and forced herself into my home and tried to take care of me. However, as she was about to cook, I noticed something. She was just looking around, doing nothing, and was panicking. At this point I asked:

“Do you even know how to cook?”
She froze, and after a few seconds of silence, she nervously turned around and said:
“O-Of course…”

Lies.

The Prettiest Girl In Our School Was My Neighbour

Two days have passed since me and Sakurai ate carbonara together in my house. And today is Monday.


Right after the school bell rang, indicating that our classes were over. Ikeda, my one and only friend, asked me to go hang out with him in a mall. I agreed as I had nothing else to do today, but he brought someone else with him without telling me...


"You didn't tell me about this." I asked, annoyed.


We are currently in a shopping mall eating in a certain fast-food chain. However, it's not just the two of us. Because...


"Well, I thought that this will be a good chance for you to meet my girlfriend you know?"


"And why do I need to meet her?" I bluntly asked. Normies should just go die.


"Because you're my best friend!" He exclaimed in an enthusiastic voice.


"Oh shut up, answer my question seriously."


Finally, he stopped being annoying and responded properly.


"yeah yeah sure. She was just curious about the guy who had no friends besides myself. Also, my first statement is still valid."


"Sure.." I said in a low and mundane voice


I looked to his right and I see a girl. She has the same height as him. Her hair color is the same as Ikeda's, blonde. Her hair is short, only reaching her shoulders. She was pretty cute as well. Though, she's still far from reaching Sakurai's level.


"So, miss girlfriend, do you mind introducing yourself?"


"Hai!" She stood up and held her right arm up then made a pose.


"I am Hirasawa Hina! I am Ikeda's girlfriend!" She said in a very energetic voice.


Uwaaa so energetic. they're both annoying... Seeing the weird face I was making, Ikeda quickly picked up on what I was thinking about.


"Hey what you're thinking about is rude, you know?" He said.


"So anyways, when did you guys become lovers?" I asked in a voice that shows that I have no interest in the matter at all. Hirasawa then started explaining.


"We started dating at the start of our school year!"


I was surprised. After all we are just first year high schoolers, so isn't that too fast? Ikeda realised what I was thinking and began to explain.


"You see, Hina and I are actually childhood friends. We met in elementary and stayed as classmates since then. But at 3rd year of middle school, she suddenly had to move schools.


So, when we reunited in high school, she confessed and asked me out. I accepted because I also had feeling for her and here we are now."


"Well, I'll take that as a compliment."


Anyway, after we finished eating, we went shopping for some clothes. Well, I say 'we' but I was just looking after them like I was a parent watching my kids go crazy after seeing a lot of toys in a shop. I also bought some clothes for winter.


"Hey, Ikeda-kun! What do you think of this dress?" Hirasawa asked Ikeda like she forgot I was watching them.


"Thank you hehehehe" Hirasawa-san rushed to Ikeda and higher him. People around us started to gather to see what they were doing.


I then grabbed the collars of their uniform and dragged them outside the crowd that was forming.


I got mad at them and told them to never do that again. They gave a halfhearted reply, so I highly doubt they'll not do this sort of thing again.


Still though... I will admit, it's amazing that they can just go in their own world and flirt... amazing in a bad way.


After this, we bought our clothes and Ikeda and Hirasawa finally both left. I stayed for a few more minutes in the mall to get ready for my next destination.


I was about to go to my parent's company to get my monthly allowance.
