School Gate

Yesterday, I ate dinner with the prettiest girl in our school... again. She quickly went back home after we ate together. I'm guessing that she thinks of me as a harmless guy now... which is not wrong, but I'm 100% sure that her judgement about me is way too early.

I mean, I'm not planning on doing anything bad with her. But I'm still worried that she might trust someone that is planning some nasty stuff about her.

So why am I talking about her, you ask? Well, currently, she is walking right in front of me as we enter the school gate. This was actually an unfortunate coincidence as we went to school at the same time. So I just distanced myself by a few meters to make sure that people won't be suspicious about us being neighbours, friends or anything like that.

If people find out that we're actually neighbours, then boys will come to me and ask about her address, which I obviously don't want to happen. As that can be dangerous. They might actually go to her house to attack her or something. And most importantly, It'll be annoying.

I just don't want any people to go near me. They'll probably come flocking to me, which is the last thing I need right now. I just want to keep a low profile and be unnoticed.

Anyways, back to Sakurai-san. After going through the school gate, everyone made way for her and welcomed her good morning.

"Good morning, Sakurai-san."

"ughh... it's her again..."

"Oh my beautiful princess, I wish you a good morning today."

Many people greeted her. From normal people wishing her a good morning, to a group of girls annoyed with her. And the last one... I don't want to talk about that cringy guy. Sakurai-san just simply greeted them back with a fake smile.

"Good morning."

It seems like they didn't notice that her smile was fake, as most of the boys who saw it got nosebleeds.

Simps.

Still though, I think it's amazing how she can keep herself calm from all of that. Especially with that cringy dude. I saw her flinch a little with the cringy guy so I guess she has her limits? But I was the only one who noticed it.

And the fact that she can handle that group of girls too. Her mental strength is something else, huh?

As I was thinking about this, I was walking towards my classroom. Finally, I opened the door to the room and went to my seat. There I see Ikeda using his phone.

As I approached my seat. He just continued to fiddle with his phone until I finally sat down my chair.

He was my seatmate, so communicating with him was not a problem, after a few seconds of silence has passed. He finally started a conversation with me.

"So, how was your monthly allowance?"

If you're wondering why he knew about my allowance. Yesterday, he asked me if I wanted to walk with them back home. Their houses aren't near mine, but the train station they take to their homes is. But I refused and told him that I was going to get my allowance so they should just go home with just the two of them.

So the two left without me... well, that wasn't really the main reason on why I didn't want to walk with them. The main reason is because they'll probably just flirt while we're walking and I'll be there watching them like some sort of third wheel.

"It was alright, I got my allowance. But, it seemed like there were some problems with the schedule of their new game"

"Ehhhh? I was really looking forward for their next game..."

Ikeda is actually a big fan of my dad's company. He has apparently played all of their games. I told him that I was actually the son of the CEO there after our summer break ended. And surprisingly, He handled the news fairly well... i think.

At first, I thought that he was going to freak out and well. I was right.

He did freak out at first, but he gradually got his calm back. After he learned about that, he kept asking me questions about the new project of the company. I did tell him some info, but I revealed nothing important.

After a few more minutes of chatting, we heard the door open. It was our teacher.

"Alright guys, class is starting."

Everyone went back to their seats and got ready for our class.
