My New Life in the Kingdom of Wolves

I climbed down and joined Briar with Sir Hunter with Deek and Wanda. Deek had bright green hair, a pale complexion, and silver eyes. Wanda had black hair with red highlights, an equally pale complexion, and piercing black eyes. The three of them were going to lead the two of us to our rooms. I would have rather gone alone.


Nolan, having gotten off of his horse, was standing beside Boberre. I could see that the latter of the two was very scared. He knew that he was in trouble, and he was about to answer for his crimes. I didn't want him to get hurt, but I wouldn't be there to help him at all.


"Nolan, please remember what I said earlier. I would not like for anything bad to happen." I stepped up to him before we walked away.


"I know, Addie, and I will keep that in mind." I was standing close enough to hug Nolan now, but that meant that Boberre was close enough to touch me as well.
