My New Life in the Kingdom of Wolves

Oddly enough, the three guards were treating me a lot better than they had from the beginning. Even Wanda who seemed to be on my side from the start. They were acting almost reverent of me as they took me to my room and called for someone to prepare Briar's room. They even stayed with me and Briar until the room was clean. I was waiting with Briar outside his room as we looked inside. It was a lot like my room, only a little more masculine in appearance. It was next to Nolan's room, which I had almost forgotten was right across from mine.


Now that Briar's room was cleaned and ready to go, he went inside to await the servant that I was going to send to him. He needed to relax and calm down after what had just happened. We both needed to calm down after this ordeal.


While I was looking into the room, my mind lost in thought, I heard someone's voice come to me from what sounded like far, far away.
