My New Life in the Kingdom of Wolves

I thought that Callum and Juliana were coming closer to lunch time. I didn't expect that within minutes of Briar leaving they would be at the door. Violet hadn't expected it either, apparently. And that was why she looked so shocked when she saw them at the door. Nolan didn't look shocked though, since he just sat there with a calm look on his face as the two of them came into the room.


"Addie?" Juliana squealed in delight when she saw me. "You are awake at last. And you are gorgeous as hell. Look at that hair. It's perfect. I think that it suits you way more than brown ever did. You are so beautiful and unique now." She was running across the room as she spoke, taking me in her arms and hugging me when I rose from the table.


"It is good to see you as well, Juliana. I am sorry that I slept for so long. I think that it was my fault." I felt ashamed.


"Your fault, how?" Callum asked as he came to sit at the table as well.
