My New Life in the Kingdom of Wolves

I tried not to think about what was going to happen, what the others would say, as I walked into the auditorium. There were students pushing by us on both sides, so I knew that we couldn't linger in the doorway for long. This room was large, vast, and very impressive. There were hundreds of seats available, even though there only seemed to be maybe ninety or a hundred students that were milling about.


Of all the groups that were here, ours seemed to be the second largest, and I thought that there were very few of us when we left. I guess that the academy never did have high numbers in its classes. Not with a good majority of the families taking a long time to have their children. No one really rushed into the whole marriage and life stuff in this world.
