My New Life in the Kingdom of Wolves

After the issue was settled with Nolan, I started to feel a lot better about things. I even had a talk with Hollis about the rumors. He said that he was trying to put an end to them, but that the others didn't seem willing to believe him that we weren't dating.


There was something that Nolan and I had talked about while we were together. Something that I knew others wouldn't understand at the time, but that I thought might help Hollis out a little.


"Let them think what they will." I told him. "We know the truth." I looked around the room, making sure that no one was within listening distance. "Besides, this will help you."


"How?" He asked as he leaned away, looking into my eyes with shock. 


"Your dad already suspects things, right? That you like, well you know. That was why your attendants changed between the first and second terms."


"Yes, he suspects things. I haven't confirmed them to him though." He looked so worried about what he was saying.
