"Addie?" After the new arrivals had been separated in their rooms, guarded with magic as well as my staff, I had gone to my room to freshen up, have lunch, and think about the coming task. Nolan, having been elsewhere for the last hour, was calling me from the door. I heard him coming, of course, but I hadn't turned to look at him.

"Addie, are you alright?" He sounded worried about me.

"I'm fine." I gave him a smile, and in truth I was fine. I was just thinking. Planning really. There were a lot of things that needed to be done, and I was trying to order them from least important to most important.
