20. Confession

"It must have happened because I was too drunk", he said. Junho wanted to apologize for his bad behavior but he didn't forget what Ella did to James.

"In order to apologize how about dinner? It will be on me", Junho asked.

"Since I'm a food lover I can't deny but I have to meet Liam later how about tomorrow?", she asked.

"Sounds good", Junho nods.

Later in the evening Ella went to Liam's house. Jack opened the door. She looked around as she entered the house and was impressed by the interior.

She sat on the couch and soon Liam came. Jack went outside to buy some groceries.

"There was something I wanted to tell you. I had no intention to hide it or something, it's just that I found out everything a few days back", Liam said calmly.

Ella was listening carefully. "One year ago you had an accident right?", Liam asked. "How did you know?", Only Ella and her parents knew about this accident, she was surprised.

"That night, you fell from the cliff because of me", Liam said full of remorse.

Ella was shocked and said, "How? I mean what happened that you had to....".

"I tried to kill you, I'm sorry Ella. I kept walking towards you and you kept going backwards", there was regret in his voice.

"I will respect your decision. Whether you want to get justice or something-", Liam paused as he heard Ella laugh.

He lifted his head up and he had a bewildered look on his face. "So it was you haha....ah I feel bad for laughing when you are all serious", she said amused.

"Ella I tried to kill you", he emphasized. "That's why I'm thankful wait....I'm thankful that I fell from the cliff because of you", she grinned.

Ella stands up and Liam follows. "Ella you had to go through so much, and you are still going through so much because of that. How can you be so relaxed about this? What's wrong?", Liam was concerned.

She holds his hands. "I'm not able to understand Ella", he asked still confused. "Because of you I got a new face", she said excited, "And I became a better person", she added.

She let go of his hands. "I'll go now, don't stress or blame yourself for anything. I'm genuinely happy", she tried to assure him.

She opens the main door, "Liam let's hangout often. Me, Jane and you together", she smiled and left.

Liam was left perplexed.

The next day

Elders of the pack visited Junho. His uncle and aunt were not very close. They just fulfilled their duties so far. And liked to live in the countryside.

"We have decided to get you married", his aunt said calmly. "You know I'm not going to marry anyone", Junho stands up from his place.

"For this company and your position as alpha, you can't escape from marriage", his uncle raised his voice. "Meet Ava tomorrow that's it", the two left.

Junho throws the glass coffee table and it broke. The glass pieces scattered all across the floor. He was irritated and raged.
