25. A new friend?

"Ella, what did Eric say when he called you before leaving? Calvin told us that he called you that day so what was it?", Junho randomly asked.

Ella froze for a moment then came back to her senses. "I don't remember clearly, it's been quite a long time since we last talked", she said.

"Do you know James?", Junho asked casually. "What's with these questions today? Anyways his name sounds familiar. Who is he though?", Ella was calm.

Junho shows his picture to Ella. "Hm? I don't think I've seen him", she was confident.

"Are you certain you didn't see him?", Junho inquired. "Yeah but who is he to you?", she looks at him confused.

"He is the person who was behind your accident", Junho said. "Really?", Ella exclaimed. "Yeah, but he is in jail now for murdering the truck driver", he said calmly.

"But how do you know about him?", Ella asked. "He works at my company", Junho replied.

"I reported about the accident, I had no idea about the truck or the driver but later the police asked me to confirm if it was the same person. Then later I got to know about everything. I totally forgot his name was James", Ella said.

"Are you sure it was the first time you heard his name?", Junho grew suspicious. "Yeah", she answered.

Ella thought, "What can I even say, he must be someone I don't know. Sometimes I just regret everything".

Junho closed his eyes. Ella glanced at him but then focused on driving. They were on the way to the company. He was trying to recall all the past events related to Ella.

Soon they reached the company. Her gaze went towards Junho who was sleeping.

He was getting irritated by the seatbelt. Ella smiled and opens the seatbelt, then slowly tries to put it back to it's place.

All of a sudden Junho woke up and grabs Ella's neck, bringing her face in front of his. Ella gasped and holds his gaze, Junho glared at her.

"You are not Ella right? How in the world did you do this?", he asked. A shiver runs down her spine.

"I don't want to talk about it right now. But I'm definetly Ella", she said calmly and gets away from Junho.

"I will let you know whenever I think it's getting confusing", she assured him.

Someone knocks on the car window. "Oh who is she?", Ella asked casually. "Ava", Junho sighed.

The two came out of the car. "Junho, where were you? And who is she?", Ava was curious. He glanced at Ella, "My friend".

"She is so pretty!! Hi I'm Ava", she exclaimed. "Thanks, I'm Ella", she smiles. "Ah, how about this? Why don't you join us tomorrow with your boyfriend and we will go on a double date?", Ava suggested.

"I don't have a boyfriend, it's fine you two-", Ava cuts in, "Oh that's fine how about a blind date, I have a friend who is single". Junho rolled his eyes.

"I'm not interested in dating", Ella replied. "So what let's just hangout together then", Junho said and mouthed "please", looking at Ella. she hesitates then smiled.

"Yeah sure then", she said giving Junho a death glare. After some time Ella left. "I'm going home", Junho got inside his car and left. Ava smirks.

The next day.

The hitman's name is Oliver. He came out of his bathroom after taking a shower. The clothes he wore earlier had blood on them, he tossed them into the washing machine.

Oliver saw he had a missed call from Ava. The two recently became friends. He calls her and she told him to meet her so he gets ready.

Later he was in front of her house. Ava came outside, "Oliver do you want to surprise someone?", she said excited.

"Surprise? Who?", he asked. "Ella", she eagerly waited for his response.
