The Answer (Edited)

'My thoughts on humanity as a whole? Wonder what made him want to research and investigate that' I wonder.

"Well I personally think that the world would be a better place without humanity as it is, don't get me wrong there are people out there doing good in the world but most of humanity is either making the world worse or just sitting around not doing anything even remotely like trying to fix the problems, people abuse and exploit other people all the time, all, in all the world is probably better off without us here in it. Sure a version of humanity will probably come along again if history and evolution are anything to go by bit by that point the world should have recovered to a more stable point so it is no longer trying to wipe us out." I reply to the gentleman who looks quite surprised by my answer.

His reaction to my answer was understandable as it was probably not the kind of answer he was expecting but who am I kidding most people probably don't have the same thoughts as me I know I tend to have a more relaxed perspective on things while also hating most things that ruin nature.

Not sure who my mentality comes from it's either Lily or I thought it could be a mix of both of us we aren't all that sure about how we affect the others' thoughts and emotions.

we also don't really care what others do, but we like to have conversations with one another and just play it off as D.I.D or Dissociative Identity Disorder when people ask, the reason being it is easier than explaining that I have another person who has died bound to my soul without making people think I should be in a mental asylum as that is the usual response people gave me before I explained it as DID.

Though I feel kind of bad using D.I.D as a response as it isn't true D.I.D as we both know what the other is doing.

The gentleman is stunned by my response to his question for a good minute while I debate with Lily in my head over who was the one more in control when answering his question before we are startled out of our conversation by the gentleman asking "Now that is a rather unique response to my question most just say either they don't like humanity or that humanity is doing fine you are the first to give me such a long and in-depth answer do you mind me asking what makes you have that perspective?"

I stand there for a moment confused as I thought I explained to him why I had the opinion I do before realising I just used abstract examples so compiling my thoughts I give him a more in-depth answer "Well to me it is quite simple to come to that conclusion as we just need to look at things like global warming, nuclear weapons, genocide, hell even reality TV shows then you just need to look in a history book, anything not for children you can't throw a dart into without hitting something bad. Looking at it all humanity is a wrightoff of a species at least, in my opinion, the only ones not too far gone would possibly be the children as they can learn but people only look to the past briefly or try to live in and recreate the past, I think we should look to the past to learn from the mistakes of our ancestors and the ones who have gone before us, we should learn and see that hatred breeds hatred I'm not saying that we should forgive those who wrong us as I am not someone like Jesus in the Bible or anything but the anger should not rule our lives for if we allow emotions to rule all our actions how are we any different to the animals we hunt? In saying that though we should also look to the future and present as well, looking to the past is all well and good but without the context of the present and the foresight of what can happen in the future we are nothing but fools who dream of the better days now gone without trying to create days that are even better for ourselves or our descendants."

Once again the Gentleman looks at me before slowly opening his mouth "You really see such little promise in God's creation as it is now even though you are one of them?"

The accusatory question leaves his lips and I look at him thinking about how to reply before coming to the conclusion I wanted to "Yes I do we are the kind of species who would make something like using colour to paint our skin a crime before we would make something like Gay Conversion Therapy illegal that is one of the main reasons that I have this opinion humanity are hypocrites, they go on and on about freedom of choice yet in the next breath force people to conform to certain views on life and certain ways of living. They tell us that we can choose what we want one minute and the next they tell us that we must conform to certain beliefs and ways of living that is why I have my views on humanity!"

by the end of my speel, I am shouting at the gentleman who is looking at me like I am a fool he then says almost mockingly "Then what if you didn't exist what if everyone who shares your view in that a creation of God was flawed disappeared never to be seen again?"

I look at him like he is a fool before answering him calmly

"You can't. Not without removing all thoughts from people's minds there will always be people who have these thoughts and if you remove the people with them then the thoughts will happen to more people and they will be curious as to why people with those thoughts keep on disappearing and before long you will have all of humanity asking questions. Humanity as a race is naturally curious people may try to suppress that curiosity but it will only be suppressed for so long before it comes back it is humanities curiosity that allowed us to get to where we are we are always asking questions why does this happen, why does something else happen, why are this group of people all disappearing."

With my reply, the gentleman looks at me before grinning "Ah but we can try and you can be the first to die and be judged by God for your transgressions."

as he finishes his sentence he pulls a blade from his belt ramming it into my gut.

I just smile at him with pity in my eyes as I lean back onto the wall behind me and weakly reply "What makes you so certain that there is only one God there were Gods before the Christian one was created maybe I will meet some of them instead of yours."

His face turns red in anger as he hears my words before he grabs his blade and rams it into my skull killing me.
