Gu Yue internally gritted her teeth at his statement. She did want to know about his body but not in the way he was putting it.

She had previously seen his body when it was bathed in blood and weirdly pulsating with energy but even then it had felt human to her.

But that changed when she had met him again at the Shrek Academy during their weird encounter. At that moment, he felt like a puppet or a machine to her.

No heartbeat, no bloodflow, no breathing and full of energy. Too full of energy, enough that a normal human would have died, he himself blew a few minutes later due to it.

But despite that he possessed a body that was perfectly working...

A body that didn't need sleep. A physique that doesn't need food and the human that had it.

It intrigued her a lot because she could not think of anything that might have caused the change in physique and she was GU YUE, her not knowing it was a problem. A big one.

"What happened to your body? Your current body is weird, devoid of any visible muscles or features, kinda like a smooth rock or mirror. A normal human/soul master doesn't have a body like that." [Gu Yue]

So she asked, despite having no hope for the answer because one thing she could say for sure about him: This guy always changed the topic if he doesn't want to tell the truth.

"The fact that my heart doesn't beat should have been an apparent sign that my body isn't like a normal human's." [Fan Lin]

"A body without any heartbeat is quite common than you think. It's the other aspects that's weird." [Gu Yue]

"Evil Soul Masters." [Fan Lin]

"Yeah and don't try to change the topic. Just don't." [Gu Yue]

"I wasn't going to. So what about my physique that you were so interested in?" [Fan Lin]

"I already told you." [Gu Yue]

"And that's a lie, I know that, you know that as well, so why waste our time?" [Fan Lin]

"Your body, how did you get it? It's the most energy compatible vessel that I have ever seen." [Gu Yue]

"It's a soul skill of mine." [Fan Lin]

"... I some times forget that you're quite smart despite your gullible nature and circumstances." [Fan Lin]

"So you aren't going to tell me." [Gu Yue]

"Well that's what my previous words hinted. At least not now but if there is a chance in the future, I will tell you all about it." [Fan Lin]

"Why did you ask when you weren't going to tell me anything?" [Gu Yue]

"Just wanted to confirm." [Fan Lin]

"Your 9/10 didn't work here?" [Gu Yue]

"The biggest of incidents are often caused by a series of smaller incidents. Incidents that could have been easily avoided. Not gonna let it happen." [Fan Lin]

"I hope that you succeed, unlike previous times." [Gu Yue]

"Thanks. A prayer full of faith is all I need (sarcasm)." [Fan Lin]

Said the certain Lin while taking the fruit that Gu Yue passed to him.

"By the way, you can know about my public relations by now. It will help you later on... if you used your wits." [Fan Lin]

"Want me to burn you." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue simply stated while counting the number of fruits that she was left with.

"So, let's start with Shrek, since there's not much to them. The upper echelons of the Shrek should know about healing and cultivation speed along with the fact that I have killed." [Fan Lin]

"I could have guessed that even if you didn't tell me(forget guessing, I knew it!)." [Gu Yue]

"You aren't surprised by the fact that I have killed?" [Fan Lin]

Gu Yue gazed at Fan Lin, her clear eyes boring deep into his soul as she thought how in the world did he have the guts to ask her that question when he had talked about wiping humans off the face of earth at least once in all of their meetings. All of them!

Those words of his WAS the reason why she had to cover both of them in a barrier whenever they were alone in Shrek!

It was also the reason why she was on the edge with him. What if he turned out to be one of those psychos that gave his all to set a big stage and them burn it to the ground just for fun?

In this case, the stage would have been the Moon Forest and the future of the soul beasts.

She didn't know about that and she was genuinely afraid of such a scenario.

Because in his hands were those mysterious vials that even she had no idea off. She didn't know the extent of him, neither could she safely say that he was something that she could completely control. The only thing she could do was to always have someone have a lookout on all his actions.

But that doesn't mean that she would do nothing and just accept the one sided situation she was in.

She had already began her preparations on dealing with whatever he threw at her, it was just that she wanted to avoid the future where she had to use those methods.

He was a necessity to the future of the soul beasts, probably on the same scale as Wulin. For she can have a new Star Dou forest, a safe heaven for the soul beasts, through Fan Lin while Wulin will grant her the complete power to protect the soul beasts from any and all kinds of danger.

He was necessary and yet he was annoying, rude, stupid, annoying again and most of all, completely untrustworthy except for a few things.

And now, he was wondering why she wasn't surprised that he could have killed someone in his entire life.

And to quote to that, she might have just ignored his previous incessant talking about humanity's destruction as the mere mumblings of a stupid moron but Gu Yue knew about Fan Lin and quite a lot at that. It was just that she knew the past and what she wanted was his future plans. Life was hard for her.

From all the information she has on him, Fan Lin was the type of person who drugged his teacher after getting her help. Someone who liked to brainwash and manipulate others around him, last but not the least, he was also someone who was committing blasphemy as a human by creating the safe land for soul beasts, one of humanity's greatest threat.

He couldn't even be a proper human, how can she even trust him. Like if this psycho hadn't killed even once in his life, she would doubt her existence.

Just the sheer apathy he had for humankind should have been a direct sign that he may or MIGHT have killed or was planning to do so every moment of his life.

"I have a good poker face." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue replied, her gaze still on him. Even with thousands of thoughts in her mind, her face still remained a block of ice as if she had gotten the face paralysis of Fan Lin or Wu Zhangkong.

Even Fan Lin wasn't able to tell if she was being sarcastic or saying the truth as both applied perfectly to the current question.

Gu Yue did have a good poker face.

"Moving on, Spirit Pago—" [Fan Lin]

"That's it, that's too short, at least give a longer description on Shrek. This isn't all that they know about you." [Gu Yue]

"You said you could have guessed it anyway." [Fan Lin]

"That doesn't mean you can just skip it whole. Their might be some things that I don't know." [Gu Yue]

"That's a fair point but unreasonable as always." [Fan Lin]

"..." [Gu Yue]

"Knows my age, Martial soul, my healing abilities, my energy explotion/implosions, my weird nature regarding humans, my bloodthirsty and weirdly endearing behaviour towards the soul beasts and the fact that I may have killed some people in the past. Should be enough." [Fan Lin]

"And how did they know?" [Gu Yue]

And then Gu Yue asked the question that she had guessed for a long time but still wanted to hear from his mouth.

"I told them. Not directly but through my mumblings and self talks to my reading list, my behaviour in class and how much emotional bonds I showed with the others." [Fan Lin]

After he finished, she calmly remarked.

"You were acting your whole time in Shrek. Why?" [Gu Yue]

"It was due to a different plan of mine in the past but that had been scrapped and changed to a new better plan. That had also been scrapped when I left for Spirit Pagoda." [Fan Lin]

"So it was a waste, hmph!" [Gu Yue]

"Nah, to be truthful, it's actually far more useful in my future plans then it could ever be. Plus you were the reason why the change of plans happened." [Fan Lin]

"If you say so, although I don't see any good ending to have digrunted Titled Douluos as enemies." [Gu Yue]

"Worried about me." [Fan Lin]

"You aren't just carrying your own life but all the soul beasts that are going to live here as well. If somehow the humans got to know about this, a war between the soul beasts and humans might happen... Don't treat it as a joke." [Gu Yue]

Fan Lin looked at the serious Gu Yue and smiled. He said nothing and that irritated Gu Yue quite a lot.

You know a situation where you are talking about something extremely serious and then the person in front of you just laughs it off as a joke.

An urge to slap that person to the oblivion rises inside your mind, right?

"Next should be Spirit Pagoda."

"Knows the basic details like my martial soul, age, gender and ID number, higher ranking individuals also have a knowledge on my favourite drink and my vegetarian habits along with 24/7 live feed of my location, my working time, experience and habits." [Fan Lin]

"They also know that I am a proud and ambitious student who is aiming for higher ranks, currently single, no past records of any relations or liabilities, and currently in the possession of just a single skill." [Fan Lin]

"And some other miscellaneous things like which factions I am closer to and what projects have I shown my interest in. There is also the matter of the spirit soul and such. That's all they know." [Fan Lin]

"Hmm?" [Gu Yue]

"What do they not know?" [Gu Yue]

"My school life in Shrek, my Boundless ring, my physique, my soul skills, my base cultivation rate, my Three Word Battle Armour composition, my overall strength and my toxins, and all this that you see in front of you. They know nothing about it." [Fan Lin]

"How can you be sure?" [Gu Yue]

"You only know what I want you to know about me. You really think others are any special." [Fan Lin]

"That wasn't the answer to my question but continue, there is still more right?." [Gu Yue]

"The Spirit Pagoda has three different factions regarding me, the first being the Qiangu Donfeng's loyal supporters and workers, the second is the other council groups and their cronies while the third is the one that is under my control for the time being." [Fan Lin]

"And as an added information, The Upper Council members of the Spirit Pagoda are currently deleting all of my information and records from the public files in secrecy. Their intentions regarding me had blown up into proportions that I haven't even thought off."

"They are truly weird, in that they are able to think so many uses of me that even I wasn't able to come up with. Well I never treated myself as an object of worth anyways. The Wargod Temple used to have my information but that was a long time ago..."

"Lastly the Federation knows about me as much as Qiangu Donfeng does, but that only applies in the enemy scenarios since he controls a big part of the Sun Moon Federation. For now, I am just a revered Soul master who can grow forests to the rest of the Federation." [Fan Lin]

Gu Yue quietly thought about his words before finding a weird coincidence. She looked at him and he nodded as if anticipating her question.

"Qiangu Donfeng. What about him? How much does he knows about you? And what is it that he doesn't?" [Gu Yue]

As her words left her mouth, Fan Lin icy cold voice followed.

"I like that about you, Qiangu Donfeng and the Spirit Pagoda are like two different entities to me and there is a reason for it as well."

"Qiangu Donfeng has too much control over the Spirit Pagoda, Sun Moon Federation, one of the other continent and has a mutual relationship with the Evil Soul Masters and..."

"!!!" [Gu Yue]

"He is the one who has control over nearly 80% of the illegal experiment facilities that belong to the Spirit Pagoda."

"The information he has on me varies from my school life in Shrek, Eastsea Academy, my Three Word Battle Armour composition, knowledge about my business (Everyone knows about this), my spirit souls."

"He is also the biggest puppet that I have at my disposal now and I am going to destroy him once his purpose is served."

"You really don't fear death, do you?" [Gu Yue]

"Offended? Don't worry you are not a disposable puppet —" [Fan Lin]

"Till the time I serve your purpose. Quite laughable, isn't it?" [Gu Yue]

"–since you have to live a long life. That's what I was going to say." [Fan Lin]

"I would be a fool to completely trust your words." [Gu Yue]

"About that — " [Fan Lin]

"Finally~" [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin got up from the ground as his Boundless ring began to levitate around him. His Three Word Battle Armour shone with a dull light.

Gu Yue just silently looked at him, it's wasn't the first time he suddenly did some weird actions in the middle of their conversation.

"So how much forest land would you want? I don't have enough toxins at the moment so you have to compromise." [Fan Lin]

"How much?" [Gu Yue]

"Around 3 times its current size." [Fan Lin]

"Do it." [Gu Yue]

"In the next half a year, if you have time, come here to throw the vials that I gave you." [Fan Lin]

"Your sentence is all jumbled up." [Gu Yue]

"They are indeed." [Fan Lin]

As he spoke, the land surrounding the Moon Forest rose up along with green crystalline mountains. Fan Lin floated high in the air along with the landmass under his control.

An area around 1000k in diameter began to rise and churn and mix and mash as the green crystalline mountains enveloped them all, turning the rocks, sandy soil, lava and the sand into arable fertile land, like a gaint mixer mixing the earth itself as he infused his soul power into the big 'grinder' that he was manipulating.

This was the soul power that he had been collecting and condensing in the sea, the pure soul energy was untouched by any.

Soul beasts, especially the plant vegetation type ones, needed soul energy to flourish.

This was also one of the few reasons why he was unable to increase the age of soul beasts with his vials. Soul beasts needed soul energy as their nutrition and their age was also dependent on the soul energy.

Half an hour later, Fan Lin looked at the clear blueish green land as far as his eyes could see, the world behind him was ignored.

He flew towards Gu Yue, took his stuff and left without saying anything.

Gu Yue saw him come, take his stuff and leave. Thinking that he would return or say something, she waited but he didn't return.

"I don't think he is going to return, My Majesty." [Di Tian]

Di Tian said, still not able to understand how Fan Lin's thought process worked.

"Where is he going?" [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue asked after some thinking.

"Absolute North. "

Di Tian answered while sensing the location of Fan Lin through the mark that he had left.

"Now what does he need there?" [Gu Yue]

"Should I follow him?" [Di Tian]

"Not now, focus on the relocation of the soul beasts, that is more important than him at the moment. With your help, we will be done in the relocation by tonight." [Gu Yue]

"He is quite slower than you. It should be fine."

"He is hiding far more that what he told you, My Majesty." [Di Tian]

"He never planned to tell me anything at all. Even what he said must have a purpose but all that aside, we need to monitor his movements when he is with Qiangu Donfeng, he is definitely planning on using me for something, find out what it is." [Gu Yue]

Di Tian nodded at her words and looked at the newly added area.

"His strength is rising too fast despite him having no progress in his cultivation. His threat level is steadily rising, I don't think you should be alone with him in your current weakened state, My Majesty." [Di Tian]

"He is going to die and he is still not strong enough to possess any harm to me, neither does he plan on dying at the moment."
