Trying to escape this....

"huh? What the hell is with this planet? Too many trees, but no civilization at all. The animals here are loners"

I said watching the vast land on top of a cliff

"yeah...."

She just muttered under her breath. Why is she sad? Is she trapped in this planet?

"and, well since there is a beautiful godess here-" I said to flirt with her which worked because her face got a little bit red "I kinda expected some ships outside this planet coming here- but- yeah...."

Yeah, this just confirms it. Maybe I can't teleport because of the barrier which surrounds the planet....

But why didn't I try to teleport after meeting her? Am I really that comfortable with her?

"mhm"

"...."

"hey uh- I noticed you are from outside of this planet, tell me- what does it look like?"

She said with a gentle but curious tone.

I looked at her in her eyes to confirm it. I took a deep sigh thinking that my response would piss her off

"for me- repetitive and boring. But if you want to see it, then I will promise you that you will"

".... T-thanks I guess"

She said with a small smile

"but- there is a problem tho"

"huh?"

"yes, your face is the perfect mask but- your eyes can show what kind of person you truly are- a sad one"

She said with a sad tone and lowered her head to gaze at the ground . Now that is interesting

"it feels like you are a type of person, who feels extremely normal, but when you dig deeper, there is a monster underneath"

She raised her head again to stare at my eyes back

"when you said that it was boring and repetitive back then, it felt like you weren't lying... What I saw was a person who has no reason to live, but still wants to live. A person who tries so hard to find one, but fails regardless"

"I guess your right- but what about you? Won't you get bored spending decades on a planet with no one else to communicate?"

I tried to counter attack

"I already lived 10000 years" jeez, she is older than her! "but I still feel like a child who has no experience. And I have someone else to communicate, even tho they clearly hate me.... My siblings"

She has siblings? Where even are they

"you might be asking where they are, but- they are just here doing what they want trapped in this planet"

"you already lived for 10000 years, but- why haven't you given up on living and just embracing a nonexistent concept?"

"-because my reason, meaning, and purpose to live- is to see what is outside"

"and then what? Thats what I meant, repetitive- once we finish our reason, meaning and purpose, those who no longer have them either find another one- or commit suicide!"

She took a deep sigh

"those who commit suicide for no longer having a meaning and reason are beyond stupid. And, who cares if its repetitive? Its only repetitive if you care it is!"

"so you mean to live in ignorance?"

"...."

There was silent for a couple seconds

"I'm, making soup for dinner- just- nevermind"

She left the place, while I- just stared at her figure slowly disappearing

"even if I ignore that its repetitive, I can't still find a reason, meaning and purpose to live, even tho I can make one myself" I muttered under my breath

I left my position and began exploring the planet... Or rather continent since I can barely use magic for now. And who knows , maybe I would teleport in the mantle using space manipulation by accident

I don't care whether I no longer can use magic, I no longer care whether I die and not get resurrected, I will make sure I will take that sword from him..

..... So I really am capable of making a purpose in life, but the question is- how can I get my meaning and purpose to live?

And why am I even that obsessed with taking that sword back? Was it because of my pride? Or was it because it was my first birthday present that really has worth to me?

I walked for hours, but I never found her siblings. Was she making them up?

I then decided to return to her house, there I saw her sitting on a chair

"hey uh- I never got your name- uh, my name is Chloe- just Chloe"

I paused for a few seconds, I wasn't expecting this- I was expecting that we were going to ignore each other with coldness

But should I tell her my full name? It is rather long

"Everos Jared, but you may call me Jared"

Whatever, I'll just tell her my first and last name

"mhm"

She smiled a little

I slept in the other room, why did she even make 4 rooms? Perhaps the siblings were real? Well whatever

Its now morning, and I am just sipping tea that I made myself without magic.... Oh no- maybe I would be soon addicted to tea

"hmmm this is delicious"

She sipped her share

"so-" she took a deep breath and suddenly her voice turned into a serious one "why did you go to this planet?"

"originally, I only planned to stay for a while, like a few minutes- and then that happened. The goal? I need to retake that sword back"

"sword? Why is it special to you?"

"I-it is the first birthday gift that I ever got with a value"

"and you would do anything for that sword?"

I can only nod. I would even kill my entire family if its the only thing that can bring me that sword- t-this twisted mentality on me- oh how I wish I could change it.

I doubt that dad doesn't know this- but I am amazed that he still treats me like a son

"fine!"

"huh?"

"you'll help me see the outside world! And in return, I'll help you bring back your sword"

"well- I already promised you to let you see the outside world, but you don't need to help me si-"

"I insist"

I give up- but still.

Even if my dream and purpose is to get that sword back- I still have an original one. To save someone not because I need to, but because I want to. Perhaps getting to know her better would allow me to truly fall in love with her and to maybe save her one day
