TGCF

Absolutely loved this book. I have a copy irl so I'm writing the review here as I think it would be fun.
The book has unique pacing and introduces a lot of characters near the beginning in a way that doesn't overwhelm the reader.
The main character, Xie Lian is a prince of a ruined land (destroyed by the white-clothed calamity) but despite this, he keeps on his facade of being fine - I recommend reading the book simply for his lore as it is just that good!!
The other main character (Hua Cheng or crimson rain sought flower) is a ghost king who is able to summon spirit butterflies as one of his abilities.
The world background is very detailed and personally, I find it beautiful
Would recommend if you like slow burn too, the characters Xie Lian and Hua Cheng noticeably have a lot of chemistry together [img=recommend]
