MARK BLOCKING CECILIA

"You shouldn't have stopped me," Cecilia said, biting her lip to hold back tears. Her heart ached so much, remembering every word Rima said to her.

"I don't know what to do anymore." Mark pulled the corners of his lips and didn't say anything. Mark didn't try to treat his wound. Instead, he went straight to his study upstairs.

Cecilia bit her lip and watched Mark's back from a distance. When Mark left her, she sobbed and ran a red nose.

"Miss Cecil, why didn't Master treat the wound?" Aunt Ann was worried about Cecilia's condition while holding the medicine box that Tina had given her.

"Young Master is always like that, stubborn!"

Cecilia grabbed the medicine box from Aunt Ann and took the wound ointment from the box. While preparing medicine for Mark, she was silent. Cecilia grabbed the railing with her hands and hurriedly ran up the stairs to the top floor, leaving a few maids to witness the scene.

The study room and master bedroom are connected. Mark took a black shirt from the master bedroom and moved into the study to change into his wet shirt.

Mark paid no heed to the burning feeling on his back. He put on his black shirt, sat on a leather sofa and turned on the cell phone beside him.

Cecilia tried to knock on the door with her tiny hands, but then she gave up. He only walked back and forth a few times in front of the study door.

Finally, Cecilia knocked on the door.

Knock knock—

Cecilia knocked on the door three times. Then a voice came from inside the room.

"Come in"

Cecilia mustered all her courage to open Mark's study door.

"Why did you come here?" Mark did not expect that the one who approached him was Cecilia.

Cecilia was silent. She only showed the wound ointment in her hand.

"No need," Mark knew Cecilia's intention, but he refused.

"You really don't have to?" Cecilia asked him. Mark's expression of concern unknowingly caught sight of him.

Mark glanced at Cecilia briefly, then looked back at his phone.

"You don't seem to be seriously injured, do you?" Cecilia shrugged nonchalantly.

"Surely the water is not hot. Ok, I'll try it myself."

After speaking, she turned her body to leave the study, and Mark called Cecilia to stop.

"Here." Mark said, trying to stop Cecilia's intentions.

"What did she say? She wants to try it?" Mark said to himself.

Finally, Mark complied with Cecilia. He knew that Cecilia would talk like that, but when he heard that Cecilia would try it herself, he panicked and worried.

"Hihi." Cecilia chuckled. She showed Mark the ointment in her hand again.

"Can I apply it now?"

"Hm," Mark swallowed nervously. Until now, Cecilia was still able to exert influence on him.

Cecilia opened the lid of the ointment, took out the contents and rubbed a small amount on her fingertips, removed Mark's shirt and began to apply it on the affected area. The wound is so red!

Previously Cecilia had seen the wound on Mark's back which was reddened. Her heart suddenly trembled. Mark protected her so she wouldn't get hurt. It's obvious that Mark doesn't love her, right? But why did Mark protect her?

Her eyes felt dry. Her slender fingers were still smearing the ointment on the wound. She wiped her nose and tears that almost fell.

God knew Cecilia's finger was still rubbing the ointment on his back in a circular motion, Mark could have reacted, but he didn't do anything.

Damn, Cecilia looks like she's bewitching Mark, but could it be that Mark isn't interested in that woman?!

"All right," Cecilia got up from the sofa. She placed the wound ointment on the small table in front of her.

"Soon it will be fine." said Cecilia.

Now his back is no longer sore, but after a while, it hurts again. Oh, this girl. Damn, was this intentional?

"I go." Cecilia saw that Mark had been silent all this time. It seemed that he was angry. Cecilia felt better as soon as she left the room.

Mark grabbed Cecilia's wrist and hugged Cecilia in his arms, just about to leave.
