Heart Start to Warm

They ate it silently.  Because Xiao You Ren would keep throwing words of praise every time his tongue tasted the delicious taste of the dumplings.  Zheng Liam was even made to shake his head.  Seeing Xiao You Ren's great enthusiasm, Zheng Liam couldn't help but slide his dumpling towards Xiao You Ren's chopsticks.  Until the man took it and ate it voraciously.

 "Eat as much as you can afford and take it slow, gege won't snatch."

 As if waking up from a dream, Xiao You Ren quickened his mouth movements and swallowed the dumpling that had been chewed.  Gazing uncomfortably at the man who looked calm in front of him.  "No, Ge.  You also has to eat a lot, we'll divide it in two." 

The chopsticks in his hand moved to separate the dumplings in the bowl into two camps.  "We bought it together, so we have to spend it together."

 Again Zheng Liam had to laugh at Xiao You Ren's attitude.  After that he shook his head, then said, "Eat, You Ren!  I don't really like it."  His chopsticks again unraveled the portion of the dumpling that Xiao You Ren had separated just now.

 Don't want to wonder anymore.  Xiao You Ren cradled the swimming dumpling with his chopsticks and devoured it.  His mouth was full of dumplings, but he forced himself to mutter, "Liam Ge is just like the old Han Yu Ge."

 Zheng Liam shook his head again, seeing the full lips speak instead.  Luckily the food in his mouth didn't come out.  "Eat first, then talk," he said, which was greeted with a sweet smile from the man in front of him.

 After dinner, the two of them walked hand in hand towards the cashier.  Zheng Liam reached into his trouser pocket and took out a wallet.  Xiao You Ren who was standing behind him just looked left and right.

 Watched some of the waiters going back and forth visiting customers.  Without being based on the man, someone walked behind him and bumped into his body.  A glass of cold drink spilled out, soaking Xiao You Ren's shoulders and back, as well as his left arm. Xiao You Ren who was surprised slightly jumped and crashed into Zheng Liam's body. Spontaneously the taller man looked at him.

 The one who bumped into that Xiao You Ren was a middle-aged woman.  She lowered his head and said, "My apologies, sir.  I tripped on my leg earlier."

 Xiao You Ren immediately grabbed the middle-aged woman's shoulder and straightened the frail body back.  "No problem, madam.  I'm fine." 

 He smiled kindly and seemed sincere.  Made the middle-aged woman feel relieved and happily returned to her desk after saying goodbye.  A servant then rushed to clean up the mess, shortly after Xiao You Ren and Zheng Liam left the tavern.

 Can be seen by Zheng Liam, Xiao You Ren's hand that had been hit by the cold water spill was decorated with a reddish rash, a stark contrast to his white skin.  This made Zheng Liam a little worried, he pulled Xiao You Ren's hand up in front of him and asked, "You Ren, what's wrong with your hand?"

 Xiao You Ren looked at the hand that Zheng Liam was holding.  "It's okay, Ge.  I'm just allergic to cold and it happens to be quite cold tonight." 

 He shook his head, trying to make Zheng Liam calm and not worry about him.

 Xiao You Ren's hand was pulled and forcefully taken to the public restroom.  Making the person concerned feel confused and frowning, but before he could protest, Zheng Liam said, "Change your clothes."  While taking off his jacket and thrusting it towards Xiao You Ren.  "Just wear my jacket, You Ren.  At least so you don't have to get cold from wet clothes."

 Xiao You Ren accepted it without protest.  And immediately entered the toilet.  He took off his glasses and handed them to Zheng Liam, as well as his briefcase.  Xiao You Ren quickly changed into the jacket, then came out with slightly messy hair without his round glasses.  Zheng Liam was surprised, blinked a few times in disbelief.  The figure standing in front of him was different from the one before.  Messy hair that is slightly back, as well as eyeballs that look like galaxies from the light of the lamp.

 Zheng Liam's hands moved to put Xiao You Ren round the district, then straightened the hair again with the man.  However, a few seconds later he again danced the round glasses off Xiao You Ren's face and ruffled his black hair.

 "You Ren, you hid yourself well."

The next day in the office.

 "Stop your weird thoughts, Yuzi!"  Xiao You Ren ordered in between his busy schedule to finish work.  The man was quite annoyed with the behavior of his co-worker, Zhao Yuzi.

 The girl was always saying and overthinking things, regarding Xiao You Ren's relationship with their senior, Zheng Liam.  Especially since three days ago, when Xiao You Ren returned Zheng Liam's jacket that he wore when he came home from the dumpling shop.

 Zhao Yuzi always bothered him with words related to same-sex love.  Really, Xiao You Ren didn't hate her, whether it was people like Zhao Yuzi or same-sex relationships, it was just that there were things he couldn't explain and understand.  So that made him feel a little uncomfortable.  He… just hesitated.

 About their feelings and their future relationship, if there really is anything like romantic feelings between them.  What was presented before them was definitely not a good thing, and Xiao You Ren didn't want to be hurt… again.

 "You Ren, I'm talking about the new comic I read this morning.  Really."  Zhao Yuzi smirked with a slightly annoying expression on her face. 

  The girl then took out another book with a picture of two men who were seen hugging each other.  Right in Xiao You Ren's line of sight, the book was shown by Zhao Yuzi.  "Taraa… here it is, the comic I just bought yesterday, after work.  The story is quite unique.  About an ordinary young man who likes the CEO of a big company," Zhao Yuzi explained.

 The story that the girl told really felt ordinary to Xiao You Ren.  Let alone same-sex relationships, even in normal relationships there are also many stories like that.  However, Xiao You Ren was too lazy to argue with his partner's words.  So he just kept quiet, listened, and kept doing his job.

 "You know, You Ren, what's special about this comic is…."  Zhao Yuzi deliberately hung up her sentence and waited for Xiao You Ren to show a reaction.  Realizing that, Xiao You Ren immediately turned his face away from the blue screen of the computer.  Staring straight at Zhao Yuzi's brown eyes.  Making the girl smile a little and continue her sentence.  "The CEO turned out to be his own brother.  Really interesting, isn't it?"

 Xiao You Ren nodded slightly.  Yes, interesting. Same-sex relationships and… incest.  The girl's brain must have been completely damaged.  "Looks like you need a brain service, Yuzi."

 "Aish, why do people always say that my brain has problems.  Even though everything I do is based on pleasure.  You know, right, pleasure brings happiness and happiness is good for health," Zhao Yuzi said long.

 It made Xiao You Ren feel his headache grow. He adjusted his slightly lowered glasses, but his focus remained on the computer.  Trying his best to ignore the demon next to him.

 Instead of continuing with his work, Zhao Yuzi spoke more and more.  Regarding her strange liking, how many stories have been read during her time as a Rotten Girl (fujoshi).  Even though Xiao You Ren's mind was very focused on his work, Zhao Yuzi's voice and her stories could not completely disappear from his ears.  He took a deep breath and turned around to look at Zhao Yuzi who seemed to be beaming with stories.

 "Yuzi," he called softly. 

The girl turned her head and saw Xiao You Ren's serious face. 

"Are you aware?  It's Saturday and we have to finish our work today, but you've been babbling for a long time.  Doesn't your mouth feel tired?"

 At first it felt awkward.  A moment after Xiao You Ren said his long sentence. However, a few seconds later Zhao Yuzi's crisp laughter gently floated around them.  Success made Xiao You Ren frown.

 "What is wrong?  Why are you laughing?"

 "You Ren you are really not fit to be angry." Zhao Yuzi put the comic in her hand on the table, then took out a mirror from her drawer.  "See even your face doesn't look scary."

  Xiao You Ren took another deep breath. He stared intently at his reflection in the mirror as he said, "Yuzi, go back to work and finish your assignment before five o'clock."

  He straightened himself again with the computer and did his job.

 As for Zhao Yuzi, she instead took a deep breath and started grumbling again.  "Ah, this job is killing me slowly.  I should be able to finish reading my comic by now.  Instead of constantly staring at the computer and being curious about the ending, huhu."

  She limply lay partially on the table, next to the computer, trying to support her head with hands.  Her hand accidentally touched the comic that had been placed in the same place.  The comic slid off the table and fell to the floor, kissing the toes of shiny black shoes, typical of an office worker.

 "Ah, my favorite comic!"  Zhao Yuzi shouted.

 Causing Xiao You Ren and several other employees to stare at her.

 Xiao You Ren who noticed someone's arrival immediately looked at the person.  Johnny was lowering his body halfway, picking up the comic lying in front of his shoe.  He looked at the cover of the comic and shook his head.  "Is this yours?"  he asked, holding up the comic in Zhao Yuzi's face.

 "Y-yes, it's mine, Phi John."

 "Tsk, a fujoshi."  Johnny slid the comic between the files in his hand and stomped his way towards Xiao You Ren.  "How is your job?"  he asked, right in front of Xiao You Ren's desk.

 The concerned just nodded as he said, "Everything is fine, Phi John.  And it's likely that this afternoon will be over."

 Johnny nodded his head, then took another step away from the table.  "I'm just here to ask you that," he said.  He actually went with Zhao Yuzi's comic.

 "Argh!  I haven't even finished reading it yet."  Zhao Yuzi looked frustrated.

 …..

 The hour hand was already in the middle of the number 5 in the afternoon.  One by one the employees have stepped out of the office area, not even a few have gone home half an hour ago.  However, returning in time didn't seem like something Xiao You Ren could do.

 The proof is that he is still struggling with a computer and mouse in his hand.  His eyes carefully pay attention to what is presented on the computer screen.  This is the final check of their work.  Employees who have completed their share will send the file to Xiao You Ren for follow-up before handing it over to Johnny, then ending up in CEO Wang's hands.

 It doesn't take long, if only there's nothing to fix.  However, unfortunately there is a part of the design that was missed, courtesy of one of the employees.  Since the person in question has returned to his home, Xiao You Ren has to fix it.  Luckily the file has not been sent to Johnny.

 Even though the sky had already started to become shrouded in darkness, leaving only itself behind, Xiao You Ren meticulously added up the missing parts of the design.  He didn't even notice someone was coming, it was so serious.

  Zheng Liam was already sitting on the chair that Zhao Yuzi used to occupy. Watching a serious face that looks adorable, to spend a few tens of minutes.

 "Xiao You Ren," Zheng Liam called, whispering.

 Surprising the man who was called was not kidding.  He stiffly looked at Zheng Liam and found the older man's ridiculous face.  If he didn't remember the title, Xiao You Ren would definitely curse him, instead of just giving him a glare from behind his round glasses.

 Knowing Xiao You Ren's piercing gaze was cast on him, Zheng Liam brought his hand to reach the small face and pulled the round glasses stuck there.

 "Ge," Xiao You Ren whined as he tried to retrieve his glasses.  "What are you doing?  Came suddenly, surprised me and now took my glasses."  He intended to pull his glasses which were placed quite far away by Zheng Liam.

 "You Ren," Zheng Liam called quietly.

 Xiao You Ren straightened his body and scanned the senior's expression.  It could be clearly seen that Zheng Liam smiled gently at him.  The man then stretched out his hand again and brushed Xiao You Ren's black hair back, with his fingers.

 "You're beautiful," he whispered serenely.

 The hand that had been combing Xiao You Ren's hair, slowly began to explore the back of the younger man's head and ended up pressing the nape of his neck.  Holding Xiao You Ren's face from backing down and at the same time he started to bring his face closer to the man.

 "G-ge," Xiao You Ren whispered.

 However, Zheng Liam seemed to be deaf for a moment.  It was like being carried by a galactic current in Xiao You Ren's round eyes. When he saw those luscious lips, it felt like Zheng Liam was forced to immediately explore the sweetness.  He wanted to kiss and crush those thick little lips.

 The door to the room opened with a loud noise.  Surprised them both.  Xiao You Ren spontaneously pushed Zheng Liam's body slightly and straightened his chair, facing the computer.  His face was flushed with embarrassment and he lowered his head slightly.  In stark contrast to Zheng Liam who was currently displaying an annoyed face.

 Just behind the door someone smiled awkwardly to cover his surprise as well.

 "Sorry, looks like I came at the wrong time," he said.  He is Johnny.  Came with various files in hand.  Directly approached Xiao You Ren who had returned to struggling with the computer.

 Zheng Liam rolled his eyes and repeatedly snorted while giving Johnny a glare.  In his view, Johnny didn't feel guilty at all even though he said the word 'sorry'.  Aware of his wasted time being annoyed with Johnny. Zheng Liam decided to pay attention to Xiao You Ren who still looked embarrassed by what had happened earlier.  Previously Zheng Liam had no intention of doing such things to Xiao You Ren.  However, who could stand Xiao You Ren's seductive face, plus there were only the two of them in the room.  Of course the demons were feasting on it.

 "How is it going, You Ren?"  Johnny pulled a chair close to Xiao You Ren and watched the computer screen as well.

 "Just the finishing touches, Phi."  Xiao You Ren's dexterous hands quickly worked.  About ten minutes later the job was done.  Xiao You Ren could heave a sigh of relief, as well as Johnny who immediately brought the file to be handed over to the CEO.

 In the doorway, Johnny turned around and looked at Xiao You Ren who was clearing his desk.  "You Ren, take good care of yourself. There's been a lot of perverts lately who like to seduce beautiful women!"  he shouted. Swallowed away, leaving Xiao You Ren with a gaping face and Zheng Liam smiling wryly.

 "But I'm not a woman," Xiao You Ren muttered under his breath.  Of course Johnny couldn't hear it, besides that the man who served as the secretary had disappeared.

 Zheng Liam only chuckled in amusement. Felt funny with Xiao You Ren's expression when he said those words.  "Yeah, of course you don't.  So don't listen to the ghosts' bullshit." He lifted his chin, pointing towards the exit.

 "Ge, don't scare me," Xiao You Ren said with a pale face.  His knuckle stood up.  No, he wasn't afraid of ghosts or anything like that. However, Xiao You Ren hated that his brain spontaneously thought about it.  He hated large, silent rooms, it felt like he was in the company of a cloaked entity.  Armed with this strange thought, Xiao You Ren rushed to tidy up his desk.

 Finished clearing the desk.  Xiao You Ren and Zheng Liam walked hand in hand towards the parking lot.  They plan to go home together.  When he was near the car, Xiao You Ren suddenly remembered something.  He stopped in his tracks, followed by Zheng Liam who was wondering through his gaze.

 "Ge, my glasses!"  Xiao You Ren exclaimed. Like being struck by lightning, his eyes widened. His feet were about to step back into the building, but Zheng Liam deftly grabbed his arm.  Prevent Xiao You Ren from running.

 "So far your eyesight is fine, right?  We can pick it up Monday, okay," Zheng Liam tried to persuade the boy who was younger than him.  Staring at the big eyes that look a thousand times more beautiful when illuminated by the lights.

 "B-but…" he stammered.  He looked straight into Zheng Liam's eyes before looking down and continuing his sentence.  "I was just… a little insecure."

 Zheng Liam widened his eyes.  Confused by the question hanging in his head, about the reason why the man in front of him was so insecure.  His face is fairly… beautiful, for a man's size.  The mole under the lip that looks very contrasting even adds to the sexy impression.  His skin is smooth and soft, as if a pimple will feel low if it dares to appear on the surface of his facial skin.

 Again, Zheng Liam's hands seemed to move on their own.  Lifting Xiao You Ren's chin and their eyes met.  His lips smiled gently at the man who looked gloomy.  "You Ren, listen!"

 Zheng Liam ordered subconsciously.  He developed a warm smile, trying to calm Xiao You Ren down.  Holding those two little shoulders.  "I think you are quite… handsome. So what makes you insecure?"

 "Ge, you said it with a bit of hesitation."  Xiao You Ren again untied their gazes.  Look in any direction.

 "Yeah, to be honest."  Zheng Liam's facial expression didn't look good to tell the truth. However, for whatever reason, his intentions weren't bad.  It was just that Zheng Liam hesitated to say it, afraid that Xiao You Ren would be offended.

 Xiao You Ren's face was no less sour than vinegar.  There was also a hint of sadness on that face.  It made Zheng Liam reluctantly have to tell the truth.  His smile grew.

 "I mean, you don't look handsome, but… beautiful.  Yes, to me you are beautiful."

 Xiao You Ren widened his eyes, staring at Zheng Liam.  "Ge!"  he exclaimed.  "I don't like being called beautiful, that's…."  The sentence hangs.

 "Hey, You Ren.  No, no.  You are charming.  Yes, you are really charming and… handsome. Because you're a man."  Zheng Liam was hunting for words.  Preventing the cry of the man in front of him, his reflection immediately embraced the small, fragile-looking figure.

 Xiao You Ren's anger and anger evaporated somewhere.  After all, what Zheng Liam was doing right now felt very warm.  Until it reaches his heart.  He couldn't help his smile grow even wider, the taller man often treated him well.  Perhaps, Xiao You Ren started to fall again.

 From the direction of the building, Johnny shouted at Wang Xian Wei who was walking next to him.  This immediately took Zheng Liam and Xiao You Ren by surprise.  Forcefully, Xiao You Ren freed himself from the embrace of the man who was bigger than him.  However, Zheng Liam tightened his embrace instead.  Making it difficult for Xiao You Ren to break free.

 "Ge!"  Xiao You Ren exclaimed in annoyance.

 With a heavy heart, Zheng Liam released Xiao You Ren.  Seeing the man's cheeks starting to turn red, he was embarrassed.

 Bowing his head, Xiao You Ren greeted Johnny and Wang Xian Wei.  After that he said goodbye to go home early.  However, Johnny stopped him and asked him to have dinner together. Maybe it would be more correct to say forced.

 In the end the four of them ended up at the dining table, in a fancy restaurant.  Enjoy a warm dinner.  Especially for Xiao You Ren. Zheng Liam's treatment made him float again, his heart warmed and began to yearn.
