Her identity

Ariadne returned to her room ready to go to bed. Her talk with Ashrak had helped her del a little better for the way that she had acted before Draxan.

She was cold and heartless but only to those who deserved it. Draxan was the one that she wanted to hurt, the man's ego far surpassed hers and that was something that she could never accept.

She moved to find the male that had become her husband. On entering the room she caught the reason for her anger on the couch with one of her books in hand. He was busy reading it quietly.

She didn't bother with him and walked straight to the bathroom to take a bath before her bedtime. The pool of water had already been prepared and female servants were waiting to give her a bath.

She let them undress her, it occurred to her that tomorrow new weapons were arriving to the palace. As such she would have to oversee that that they weren't scammed by the merchants.

But she was too tired to handle that, she would much rather do target practise to release the frustrations she was feeling.

She entered the water and let them give her a bath. The water was warm and nice. The servants carefully washed her body while she relaxed to the soothing water. For that moment she forgot about the biggest problem of her life.

"Where is the princess?" she furrowed her brows when she heard someone shouting in her bedroom.

The voice sounded confident, angry and demanding. Those three tones were ones she hated to hear on other's voices when she spoke her name.

She was Princess Ariadne and no one had the right to speak to her in any tone of voice other than that with respect or fear.

"Where is that cold heartless girl," he eyes immediately opened when she heard the same voice call her names.

The peace that she had from a minute ago vanished from her face. She was now angry, she lost the mood to continue staying in the pool. She stood up, a robe was brought for her.

She put it on and walked out of the pool. She didn't bother with the fact that her hair was yet. She could catch a come from it but it didn't matter. Someone had dared to call her names in her palace, in her room and that didn't settle well with him.

"Where is that b*tch?" the girl went on to ask. Draxan who she was throwing all the questions to just looked at her and didn't reply.

He wasn't shocked by the fact that the princess had many who despised her. The girl had a terrible personality and was not at all kind. Such girls usually weren't liked at all.

The girl furiously turned around only to hold her cheek as she felt it being on fire. She raised her gaze and met the princess staring right back at her with her hand in the air.

"You slapped me?" she questioned bitterly. Just then another loud sound came as her other cheek received an even tighter slap from the princess.

"You," the girl let out angrily. She couldn't believe the nerve of the princess to slap her like that.

"You look like a big bag of farts and you dare come to my room at this time of the night to call me names?" the asked her.

She wore a calm appearance but the anger boiling in her heart, only she could feel it.

"You are everything that I said you are and their is no denying it," the girl went on to say to her.

Ariadne raised her hand to give the girl another slap but the girl caught her hand. Before she could react to that, the girl had slapped her on the face.

Ariadne looked ahead her eyes bloodshot from the anger inside her. She shot her gaze at the daring girl who had slapped her and glared at her.

"You will be sorry for that," the princess said and moved forward and twisted her body grabbing hold of the girl's hand and broke it using her knee.

"Ahhh," the girl screamed at the pain of her hand breaking. Draxan dropped the book in his hand. Sweat trickled his forehead when he witnessed what had just happened. The last thing he saw was the girl hitting the princess which he thought was deserved by her but the next minute her hand was being broken.

The princess had moved so fast that he had hardly seen how she changed their positions.

"There are 289 ways that I can break every born in your body and disfigure you so much that not even the doctor will know how to fix you," the princess let out in a clam cold voice.

Her eyes had changes, they were ice cold and distant. She looked like she was without emotions.

"And I don't need a single weapon to break you," she whispered in the girl's ear. She pulled the girl close and grabbed her backbone and pulled it up.

The girl gasped being short of breath. "If I let my hand down, you will dead," she told to the girl.

The girl who had come before her looking so confident became fearful. She had heard rumours which the world knew, the rumor was that the princess was a weakling and new not how to fight. That she depended on her soldiers for protection.

That is why when she felt cheated by her, she dared to pick a fight but at the moment she realised that she was wrong. The girl was in no way weak.

"Say the word and I will your dead decapitated body to your family," she warmed to her. The girl trembled in her hands afraid to die.

Ariadne attached her backbone back together and dropped her to the ground. She squatted to meet the girls's gaze. The girl was holding on to her broken hand and crying on her floor. She held her jaw and turned her face to look at her.

"I am A list shadow warrior. The best of the best and I hate when people disrespect me," she said to her. The girl swallowed hard. "Guards," she screamed.

The guards came into her room in a hurry. "Take her away and find out who she is and what beef she has with me," she ordered of them.

Draxan was surprised by what he had heard. From what the princess had said to the girl he came to learn that she was one of the specially trained warriors that are the most feared in the kingdom.

He hated her but he also heard respect for her. It took a lot of training and hard work to even make it to be given a chance to train for the shadow warriors. Most of the time many women of the kingdom tried to be apart of them but failed.

And she was not just a shadow warrior but a A list warrior which is the highest rank ever. He felt immense respect for her in that aspect.

"Do you have something to say," Ariadne asked him when she caught him staring at her.

Draxan shook his head. He was wondering if he could ask her to train him to be a warrior. But judging by the way she treats him he changed his mind.
