The dance (9)

I could not believe that I spent the night with Davy in my bed. It was the most amazing feeling in the world, the warmth of the hug.

I slept in his embrace and it was blissful. The night was the most peaceful nights I have had in forever.

Getting up from the bed, I couldn't find it in myself to look away from him. With his hair let loose around him. His long black hair was tempting, I had the urge to run my hand over his hair.

But I held myself back, he was sleeping so soundly, I didn't feel like waking him by touching him. I saw a different side of Davy that didn't look any different from the side of him that I had come to know.

He was so peaceful that it drew me in. The conversation that we had before falling asleep was still with me. I was glad that at least we had one thing in common. Our family problems were almost similar.
