YULE AND LUKA didn't bother hiding their suspicion when their roommate arrived at one in the morning.

"Did you go on a midnight date with Sophie or something?" Yule doesn't hesitate to ask from the couch, a bag of chips in his hand.

Luka raised an eyebrow after Yule's question but doesn't try to defend Samuel and instead asked him another question. "Has the great Vincent Laurie finally agreed with dates that take more than three hours?"

"It wasn't a date," Samuel closed his eyes the moment he was settled on the couch. "It took Sophie a while before she finally decided to go home,"

"Ah," His two roommates shared a mischievous look. Yule even wiggled his eyebrows playfully. "Did you enjoy your midnight date with her?"

No.

Thinking back to how the so-called date ended, Samuel grimaces. "It wasn't a date," He sits up to glare at his two friends. "Why didn't you wait for me?"
