Laia had never been scared of someone's laugh.

Amethyst seemed dedicated to changing that as she continued laughing until her frail figure almost hunched over, tears threatening to fall from her eyelids as her laughs seemed to echo through the walls and possibly if they can, cause the ears of both Laia and Samuel to bleed.

It was almost as if she had gone insane.

"You want closure?" The tone that the girl used was a mocking one. "Would hearing you're welcome for saving your life from me give you the assurance that I will never interfere with your happily ever after with her?"

Amethyst does not even spare Laia a glance as she said those words. It was almost as if the sight of Laia revolted the woman, almost as if the concept of Laia being in the same room as she and Samuel were sickened her to the core.
