Chapter 80: Bain

Saturday. Cala Gració, Ibiza.

BAIN SHIFTED AGAIN. THE seat was so stiff it was impossible to get comfortable.

How much longer were they going to take?

He glanced at the clock.

Those dumb bitches were going to make him wait, weren't they?

He checked the time.

The party had technically started. No one would have arrived by now, though. They all wanted to be fashionably late. Hell, if someone actually showed up on time, that would be a surprise.

Bain could hear Uwe's voice in his head telling him to be patient. Wait for the opportunity to come to him. Bain nodded to himself, closed his eyes and drew in a deep breath.

Everything was arranged. All he had to do was wait and ensure the girls did their part. Then the boss would have the puzzle box and the mystery it contained.

The only thing better would be if Bain could bring it to the boss himself. While he'd like that, he wasn't about to interfere with the boss' plans. They were in motion and they all had a part.
