LUMEN HATED HAVING THE police in the house. Nabanita had done everything in her power to maintain as normal a routine as possible. The children were too little to understand, and it wasn't like there was anyone besides Lumen and Nabanita to take care of them while the police asked their questions. One small win was that Bethany had stopped by to pick something up and switched into damage control mode. But even with her there they all had their hands full.
