Chapter 144: Noemi

Noemi COULDN'T REMEMBER THE last time she had pre-wedding jitters for a bride.

Oh, no. She did. But did the jitters count if they were more about the bride's breasts staying in her dress? Noemi put that wedding out of her mind.

She checked her lists and the time once more.

Fifteen minutes.

Her stomach knotted up and she glanced up at Scarlett standing in the middle of the green room just off her office.

She'd chosen a simple, flowing dress with a lace overlay. Somehow it both showed off her curves while disguising her slight baby bump. Noemi's throat tightened as Dixie fastened the antique chain with the pearl drop pendant around Scarlett's neck.

God, she was a gorgeous bride.

"Look a little to your left." Benji went down on a knee, his camera aimed at Scarlett.

"I'm going to cry," Scarlett whispered.

Noemi thrust the box of tissues at Scarlett. "Do what you need to. Everyone will wait."
