After she got home and unloaded her shopping treasures, Brenna was still fuming about the incident at the pub. Slaton and Eaton were behaving like children. Eaton was whining that she wasn’t around him, that she didn’t belong only to him. Slaton was flaunting the fact that Brenna had feelings for him. She paused. That meant Slaton was very aware she was battling feelings about him. She paused in hanging the new clothes up. This was getting way out of her control. Yet she couldn’t figure out how to regain control.
