The light

  Roland's POV

It all started when I ran into her at Nancy's house near her father's grave, crying and letting out all her emotions. I couldn't help but watch her from afar.

She used to strike me as someone who is strong to handle everything on her own but when I got to know her better, I realized how lonely and vulnerable she is.

As the saying goes 'Those that need love the most are those that pretend they don't need it,'

"What are you doing here? How did you find me?" Mary-Anne snaps.

"Listen, before you say anything else please hear me out, it took me a while to figure this out or maybe I just wasn't sure but now I am, I know what I feel for you and I want you to stay by myself," I whispered as she walks over to me and plants a kiss on my lips.

"Is that a yes?" I grin.

"Stop talking and kiss me?" She ordered. That's what I probably love about her, she is just right on point.
