The note was not complete, I sensed my Mum decided to tell me the truth but she couldn't finish.  I suppose she wanted me to leave town, I can't just burn them now, I want to find answers and what she means by mortality.

I grab my bag and pack everything inside. I lock the place as I walk out of the main door and was about to close it,

Gordon shows up right behind me startling me. "Oh my god, what are you doing here?  You startled me," I said holding my chest and trying to catch some air.

"I'm sorry Nancy, I just came by to check on you, it seems you are on your way out?" He said curiously.

"Yes I was on my way going out, I need to leave now," I said, I couldn't hide my nervousness, and even Gordon could tell I was feeling nervous or scared about something.

"Tell me Nancy were you able to go through your father's things?" He asked.
