"Congratulations," I whispered hugging Barbara tightly. I always knew she would be a different person once she found her mate. She was happy and smiling a lot. For werewolves, it is a big deal to find their mate, Baby and I planned a big celebration for this day. There was good music and a lot of food.

The palace was filled with a lot of people. My watery eyes pulled to the side corner, and a new surge of emotions filled me up, Barbara was so happy and for a moment she walked outside.

I followed her quietly, I know she was happy, but I wanted to be sure everything was okay looking at the way she left the party.
