EPILOGUE

SANDRO ARRIVED TO Bernardo's apartment, pressed the bell and waited a few moments, Camila opened the door smiling.

— Welcome to our home — she said.

— Thank you, Camilla.

Sandro entered along with his son.

— So this is our little detective — she said as she ruffled the boy's hair. He smiled kindly at her.

— I think he's going to want to be a football player.

The boy nodded.

— And your wife?

— We broke up, during a Corinthians game, I unintentionally swore, she had already warned me that if that happened again she would separate from me.

Camilla laughed.

— What's the reason for so much laughter? — Bernardo said with Vitória in his arms.

— Our friend is homeless.

— So your wife kept her promise?

— Yeah... — She replied a little awkwardly — but I believe she will soon reconsider my return, she knows that in spite of my big and dirty mouth not being very in line with my brain, I love her very much.

— Who knows, right?

The voice that sounded in that room he knew all too well and made his soul tremble with emotion at the same instant.

Suddenly, Sandro has a huge surprise, his wife comes out of the bathroom and smiles.

— I think we can have lunch now, don't we? — Camila said happy with the surprise to her friend.

— Of course — said the detective — otherwise the food will get cold, and it's not every day you get to eat around a Pulitzer.
