Dungeon & Goblins (3) Against the Goblin Champion.

[Black-Iron] [Name:: Spiral Club] [Active] [Description:: An AOE attack used when the Goblin Champion is facing multiple enemies by swinging the club in a circular motion creating a spiral]

'Well he is stronger then any of the goblins I have faced before that's for sure, he also has three skills none of the goblins I have faced before had three skills' Long Shin thought inwardly.

The goblin champion was on 10th Black-Iron rank making him the most powerful enemy he had faced since he entered the dungeon even the former heads of the big families in the river town were only at high rank Black-Iron while this guy was clearly at the peak of the Black-Iron rank only one step away from Bronze.

'Will this guy give me a tough time, let's find out' ever since he became a magister he could easily take care of any high-rank Magisters his mana reserves had already reached close to peak Silver Rank which was literally a lot compared to any of the genius Black-Iron or even Bronze rank Magisters.

"Charge".

Both the goblins and the dark army charged straight at each other while the mages and archers at the back prepared for a long ranged assault.

SWISH!

BOOM!

Arrows and spells could be seen raining down on the battle field.

When the arrows rained on the goblin side many of the goblin warriors defended against them with their rusty shields meanwhile on the dark army's side those arrow attack which could be defended we're easily defended but the spells of the goblin mages were a different matter.

The goblin mages could cast low rank spells like fire ball, water bullets, and earth wall etc. They became the main hindrance in the dark army's path.

Each of their spells although were low ranking but they came in great numbers and we're concentrated on a single area because of that many of the dark soldiers were ripped apart.

"kekekekekeke" seeing his soldiers were on the winning side the goblin champion showed a smirk which made his already disgusting face even more disgusting he believed that victory was but a matter of time.

Both the Goblin Champion and Long Shin had not moved from their original position as both of them didn't wanted to enter the battle this early and also to test the enemy's combat power.

The situation on a battle field was ever changing nothing could be said to be absolute when the goblin mages saw their spells destroying the enemy's ranks they were clearly rejoining but as throght to pour cold water on them the dark soldiers who should already be dead regenerated in the next second and charged at their enemy as through they were never attacked by the spells in the first place.

The goblin champion and the rest of the goblins were clearly shocked seeing this even Long Shin could see the shocked expression on their faces.

'Hump, it's not that easy to get rid of my army' he said internally while sneering at the goblin champion who was looking towards the battlefield with a shocked face even his mouth was wide open.

The dark army which was now close to the goblins began to brazenly slaughter them even when some goblins attacked and severed their limbs they continued to slaughter while their body regenerated in the next second.

"kyaaaaaa!".

As the slaughter continued and more goblins were killed it didn't take long for panic to spread within the ranks of the goblins.

"kyakkyaaaa".

"kukukukukyaku".

Many of the goblins began to show expression of fear even through they were ready to face death when death truly locked on them some weak willed goblins were clearly shaken.

ROOOOOAAAAR!!!

Suddenly a loud roar was heard goblins who showed expression of fear again took on their rusty weapons and charged at their enemy as through they were injected with chicken blood.

It was the goblin champion who roared after which he didn't hesitate to dashed towards the battlefield.

The roar of goblin champion reignited the fighting spirit of the cowardly goblins while the goblin champion too chose to join the battle at first he wanted to see if he could know the power difference between himself and Long Shin by forcing him to join the battle first but seeing his own army losing against the enemy he could not afford to delay any longer.

While dashing towards the battlefield he brought his club in front and charged fiercely.

ROAAAAAR!

This was one of his abilities charge, in no time the goblin champion was within the battlefield but he still didn't stop instead of going towards the goblins he charged straight at the dark army.

BANG!

The sound of the collusion came and the goblin champion threw himself at the ranks of the dark army because of his skill many of the dark soldiers were injured heavily while many of them were even sent flying by couple of meters.

The goblin champion made a straight line from the frontier to the middle of the dark army which divided them in to two.

ROOOOOAAARR!

After ending his attack he madly roared tauntingly at Long Shin.

But in the next second all of the dark soldiers be it those were injured or those were flunked away with broken limbs regenerated and charged at him.

This time the goblin champion was not too shocked seeing this but he still couldn't hide the astonishment he felt after seeing the previously 'dead' beings dashing at him.

ROOOOAAAR!!

Roaring he swung his club at the involving goblins.

BANG!.

Many pits of different size could be seen, no matter how many time he broke their limbs or even destroyed them until almost nothing was left they still regenerated in the next second and dashed at him.

ROOOOAAAR!!

The goblin Champion grew furious by each second as this cycle continued.

He held his club with both hands and began rotating it in a circular motion creating a spiral this was his second skill spiral club which was also a rare AOE skill.

All of the dark soldiers who charged at him got in to the range of the Spiral Club and we're gravely injured while some were utterly destroyed missing half or even more then half of their body.

After a while the goblin champion ended his skill as the skill cost's too much stamina he couldn't keep it going for too long.

"Huh, huh, huh, huh" the creature was just trying to catch his breath after executing a taxing skill when the destroyed dark soldiers regenerated and stood up as through they were never attacked.

ROOOOAAAR!!

The goblin champion seeing this was starting to doubt his life.

Almost half of the dark army was still facing the goblin village and their side was already having an advantage against the village while the other half was facing against him even thought they were divided into two and had to concentrate at two different battles they still held an advantage in the battle not to mention their leader had not made a move from the beginning.

ROAR!

The goblin champion was clearly frustrated bye such result left with no choice he could only fight the foes in front of him even thought he could still fight but no matter how many times he attacked and injured or even 'killed' his enemy they would just regenerate in the next second and charge at him again.

When he was just preparing for going through with the battle again the creature was astonished to see that his enemies made a way for him no to be exact made a way for their leader as he could see the human who didn't move until now was walking towards him in a leisure manner.

….

'well if this continued on then the dark army will probably solve them on their own even thought they are low ranked goblins but the difference gap is only of a few minor ranks by taking advantage of their numbers and their ability to regenerate they can even face a high ranking goblin champion at the peak of the Black-Iron rank' Long Shin was leisurely standing at a distance while looking and analyzing the entire battle situation.

When he saw the goblin champion entering the battlefield he was not shocked if the guy didn't join now then he will have to face the whole dark army by himself anyone in his place will do the same.

But he wasn't satisfied with the battle as if something was missing.

'Why am I getting this feeling as if there is something missing, and if it's true then what is missing?' thought Long Shin internally.

BOOOM!!

In that moment a loud sound came from the battlefield where the dark soldiers were fighting against the goblin champion.

'I see, now I understand' when he looked at there direction he understood that he too wanted to join the battle he himself subconsciously wanted to fight against the goblin champion that was why he was feeling as if something was missing.

'If I only allow my dark soldiers to fight while I stay behind them my skills will only remain as mere decoration'.

Long Shin walked towards the Goblin Champion in a leisure manner without a shred of nervousness while the dark soldiers stepped to the side to make way for him.

"Take care of the rest of the goblins I will deal with him" he ordered the dark soldiers.

Hearing his command the dark soldiers didn't hesitate anymore and went towards the village where the rest of the dark army was fighting the goblins.

"Well now only you and me let's see of you are any different from the rest of the opponent I have faced" he said lightly to the goblin champion.

ROAR!!

The goblin champion didn't wait and attacked first to him Long Shin is the leader of the enemy as long as he dealt with him the rest of the army might scatter or even surrender to him this was his last chance to victory.

He dashed towards Long Shin striked with his heavy club.

CLANG!

The sound of metal colliding came and the goblin champion took several steps back because of the backlash when he looked in front he was stunned to see that the human had blocked his heavy strike with sword and that too by only using one hand.

It was a common knowledge that humans at the same ranks are weaker compare to most of the races in term of physics.

Long Shin was powerful as his race was changed by the system he could already be considered as half God.

"Was that all You could do?" seeing the stunned goblin champion Long Shin sneered and taunted him.

The creature couldn't speak in human language but he was none the less a creature at the peak of the Black-Iron rank had intelligence at least comparable to a teen human.

ROAR!

Hearing the taunt the goblin champion decided to attack without caring about defending.

CLANG!CLANG!CLANG!CLANG!CLANG!

He striked with his heavy club one after another but only the sound of their weapons could be heard as even against the endless heavy attacks of the goblin champion he easily defended himself with only his magic sword his breathing was also normal the goblin champion on the other hand was starting to breath heavily.

No matter how he attacked his enemy could easily parry or defend his attacks with a calm face.

ROAR!

The goblin champion began to use one of his unique abilities.

This skill could be said to be the nightmare of any Black-Iron Rank Magister proficient in close combat as it dealt damage and also ignored all the physical defense and struck the bones of the enemy.

Although the strike only carried 5% of the whole attack but mind you it would directly attack the bones if one had weak physics like humans at Black-Iron then this strike would be enough to shatter their defenseless bones.

Swish!

The Goblin champion attacked without hesitation.

If it was anyone else this attack would have come as a fatal blow but unfortunately for the goblin champion he was up against an abnormality.

Seeing the attack Long Shin covered his whole body with his mana.

Swoosh!

His whole body began to shine with crimson glow, from his skin a shiny tangible crimson aura filled with Majesty manifested.

He held the magic sword with both hands and put a defensive posture.

BANG!!!

Both of the weapons collided with each other as Long Shin stood at his position while the Goblin Champion was sent flying dozens of meters because of the impact.

Long Shin calmly gazed at the goblin champion who was in a miserable shape as many wounds could be seen on the whole body of the creature he wasn't shocked by the power he just showed as he knew that he could easily fight even Bronze rank Magisters let alone a Peak Black-Iron rank magister.

ROAR!!!

The goblin champion was finally able to 'see' the clear Power gap between himself and his enemy as instead of continued fighting he chose to abandon the place where he ruled and run away for a chance of survival.

The dark army had also finished their battle the entire village excluding the goblin champion was slaughtered.

"I should finish you off as well" he said as he looked at the now ruined goblin village.

OM!

CLANG!

Sword chants were heard as the sword began to glow with a crimson light.

He closed the difference between them with a single step and came close to the goblin champion.

"Urgh" the creature was clearly scared seeing him right on his back.

He only raised his crimson glowing sword and waved it at the goblin champion.

Swish!!

THUG!

"…".

One Wave!

That was all it took for Long Shin to end the life of a creature at the Peak of the Black-Iron rank with just one wave he broke the defense of the Goblin champion and directly severed his neck.

"Little snow tell me about the gains of this battle?"

[ Master you have obtained a total of 50 Normal Gatcha tickets and 10 Premium Gatcha tickets. ]

"Nice, gather all of the corpses at one place" he ordered the dark soldiers as they began gathering all of the corpses including the corpse of the goblin champion.

The corpses were so many that a huge mountain of corpses was formed surrounded by red blood becoming as tall as a three-story tall building.

Seeing this seen some people might get goosebumps while others might just though up but to Long Shin they were just mere resources to increase his rank.

The darkness surrounding the bodies of all the goblins including the body of goblin champion rose up in the form of dark soldiers they like others stood behind him.

"Good with this I now have one hundred and fifty dark soldiers, now let's see how much I will rank up after devouring all these" he spoke as he looked at the corpses of the goblins with shining eyes.

He began devouring corpses one after another when the number of corpses devoured reached twenty five..

»Ding! Congratulations you have been promoted to 3rd Black-Iron rank Magister«

The full twenty five corpses including the once he devoured before it roughly numbered around sixty corpses.

"Finally I leveled up the number of corp- I mean resources required is increasing at a terrifying rate let's keep going and finish devouring all of them".

The number of corpses decreased until only thirty corpses of various other goblins and one corpse of the goblin champion remained but his rank didn't increase in the slightest.

"I hope that I will rank up after devouring this" he spoke as he looked at the corpse of the goblin champion.

A black fissure appeared in front of his palm nothing could be seen within as if nothing even existed in that fissure the corpse of the goblin champion was slowly devoured by it in a few moments it was nowhere to be seen.

 A shoothing feeling enveloped Long Shin as he waited for the rank up notification…

"Thankfully I ranked up if the corpse of goblin champion didn't worked I would've needed to search for some more goblins".

"The strength of 4th Black-Iron rank is quite different compare to the previous three minor ranks".

The previous three minor ranks were the initial ranks of the Black-Iron while the 4th rank was the start of the intermediate rank the difference between the rank 3rd and rank 4th was massive if the rank 3rd magister held the strength of 30 jins then the rank 4th magister at least had the strength of 60 jins which was double the previous amount.

"It's no joke when the people say that the strength gap between even the minor ranks is massive just one normal 4th rank magister can take down at least two 3rd rank Magisters" he exclaimed as he felt the gap between ranks

"Let's transform the rest of them into system points"

»Ding! +50,000«

"Wow that's a lot of points there alright" he was surprised by the number of system points the goblin corpses gave him.

"STATUS!!"
