"fine.." he said getting out of the bush.

"hmm.. what we have here..?"

the man in the armour said rubbing his chin.

the man looked unusual.. with dark red armour covered his chest and thighs.. he stood there like a warrior, holding a spear that was dripping with blood.

his sclera was black while his pupils were glowing red, short brown hairs and big beard.

'this man looks bad deal.. we have to be prepared, system! be ready to use the overdrive mode' Ethan thought as he was ready to fight.

"oh yeah? well you see we are here for a ingredient herb, and do not wish to bother with you so we are taking our leave."

Ethan said and bowed down, and turned around to leave.

"hahaaha.. Wait! young man you're very amusing.."

Ethan stopped widened his eyes, looking back at the man Ethan sighed..

"well.. senior seems to be mistaken something, i am just some rogue cultivator, and here is my wife."

He said clenching his fists. Yaling on the other hand was beet red, slowly looked down fidgeting her fingers.

"hhaha.. you see boy, even though you're calling me senior, you doesn't seem to scared at all.."

Ethan widened his eyes as he looked at the man suddenly he remembered something.

he smirked and said "scare? why would i? it's not like you are a demon right?"

this time the man was caught off guard, he was surprised by his sudden change of expression.

his face got solemn, he stared at Ethan as he lifted his spear. slowly the spear covered by a red aura.

Ethan on the other hand was thinking of what to do..

"you sure senior? i am just a passerby, don't you think it's not to mess up with people you don't even know?"

Ethan was still smirking.

the man stood still before putting away the spear.

"is there's nothing else we're taking leave."

Ethan said as he suddenly grabbed Yaling's hand and pulled away..

the man sighed looking at the departing figure.

'sigh.. i couldn't tell his cultivation base at all, is this kid stronger than me?' the man thought.

inside a stone cave a woman could be seen looking at the dark ceiling.

"it's been over tens of thousands of years.. what's now? sigh.. and where is the brat? it's been weeks."

"haah.. are you alright?" Ethan asked Yaling who seemed red.

"y-yes i-i am fine" she said nervously.

as he said those words to the man Ethan runaway from the place with her.

"mm? i think we are in the deepest area now, let's go may be we can find it here."

Ethan said which she only nodded.

soon they reached and end.

"woah!! this is so.. big." Yaling said looking down.

"yeah this waterfall is so big the valley seems to be rich with elemental energy, why don't you cultivate here?"

The valley was rich with wood qi and metal qi.

"thanks but let's go we have to find the supreme yang lotus."

"if you say so.." Ethan said while feeling a little happy.

Ethan sat down on a big rock next to Yaling looking down the waterfall.

Yaling looked at Ethan who seemed lost in thoughts.

"Ethan are you alright? don't worry we will find it soon."

she patted his back.

"mm." Ethan smiled.

after a few minutes they heard some rustling from back, they turned and looked surprised.

it was a three-horn deer.

it was in just 2nd stage and not hard to deal with.

the deer slowly approached them, they stood still observing it.

Ethan was holding back his laughter, thinking at the goddess Athena back from earth is a deer?

"Yaling, let's go.." he dragged her by her hands.

"where?"

he didn't answered and followed the deer.

the deer started to run west opposite from where they came from.

they started to run as the deer was fast.

after an hour or so, they were in front of a stone cave, the mountain in front of them looked magnificent.

"sigh.." the deer ran away, leaving these two behind,

"Ethan where are we.. and what are you doing?"

she was looking scared, suddenly a deer came, and the next moment they were following it, but now Ethan was looking very calm.

"hehe.. don't worry, have faith in me.. let's go."

"o-okay" she said.

they both entered the cave.

as they went forward they faced many 2nd and 3rd level beast's they slaughtered their way through the core.

after an hour they were very deep inside the cave.

they saw a large room, which looked like man made. well detailed stone structures and runes every side of the walls.

a giant pillar supporting the whole room.

there was some chains wrapped around the pillar.

as they entered the room, Ethan saw someone.

resting her back on the pillar, a woman, her hands and waist were chained by the pillars.

she looked slim patite with medium curves. but her face.. her bright red pupils glowing in the dark, reflecting the flames on his palm, a pale and oval face. she has, what is called 'other worldly beauty'.

she turned her head to Ethan.

"haah? brat you're here?"

She smiled mocking herself, looking at the chains around her hands.

"Lady Athena it's you right? ah.. you are really the goddess Athena from Olympus?"

Ethan said admiring her beauty. meanwhile Yaling was very scared she tried to convince Ethan and go back but he led her deeper inside the cave.. and now this lady Athena,

"E-Ethan? who is she what's going on.. i am scared." she said snuggling to Ethan.

"hahaha.. don't worry little girl, don't be scared."

Athena said as she smiled at Yaling.

"so lady Athena what is this you wanted to talk about?" Ethan said.

"hee? why are you being impatient when you just got here? not gonna ask what am i doing in here? and the chains? and about..."

she stopped before looking at Yaling.

"sorry little girl, it's a bit confidential information, if you don't mind.."

she said and snapped his fingers, erecting a small barrier around her and Ethan.

Yaling felt disappointed but didn't refute.

Ethan on the other hand surprised, just a snap and a barrier?

inside the barrier, Athena's expression turned solemn, she started deeply through the silver haired boy, he felt her eyes could see everything including his Soul.

he gulped but didn't utter a word.

"Ethan what i am going to say might change your life, but you must know it."

Ethan looked at her and nodded.

"do you know this planet we are in is called.. 'The Eternal Prison'. during the war of the primal gods around the universe.. all the fallen gods were sealed here.. this planet is called Eternal prison because, it is a prison for the gods.. who were fallen."

"Eternal prison.. fallen gods.. sigh.. lady Athena, is i am not wrong you are from Olympus right? the cliff from Sparta? and fallen gods?"

"yes.. i am from Olympus. you seems to know about me? well, the fallen gods were, the ruler of Olympus.

Hades the god of underworld, Poseidon the god of sea and Zeus the king of gods.

there are others as Ares the god of war, and Hercules..."

Ethan was shocked, the mythical Greek gods are fallen? and what that means? if this planet is the eternal prison.. that means.

"lady Athena, how did the gods fall? and who did this? i mean who can kill the mythical gods?"

he was literally frustrated, what's happening? first his transmigration to this body and now this gods, his dream world of cultivation really sucks in real life.

"hmm.. what do you think who slaughtered them? another god? hahaha.. it was a mortal. a mortal.. my half brother, child of the King of gods himself.. hahaha.. funny isn't it?"

Ethan was dumbfounded,

"a mortal? haah.. so you also-"

"of course not, you see my whole body is intact, and am talkies you.."

"so lady Athena what are you doing her chained in the pillar? and what the heck is that three-horned deer?" Ethan asked her smiling bitterly.
