Lost

Shouting voice could be heard across the hall but no one cared as they knew the friends were just having their teen time or whatever. The parents looked at the door of the room of son of them as the shouting suddenly stopped but then again,

"But he didn't said anything you have said he would ! How can i still believe that he like me?!!" wanyin ranted infront of yinxue.

"But he said you to forget about her,right? That's the sign." yinxue said calming wanyin down.

"If i said you that i love someone who left me, what would've you said to me?" wanyin asked as he arched one of his eyebrow. Yinxue couldn't utter anything cause what wanyin said did made sense.

If wanyin said that to him, he would've advised him to forget her too.

"Look! Even you can't deny it! I'm not that fool of a person. I placed myself in his shoes and thought. He said was a right thing a friend would've said." wanyin huffed in annoyance.

"But it's fact that everyone thinks that he likes you!" yinxue said in helplessness.

"I can't ruin my friendship on 'they think' only. He said that as a friend. He think me as a bestest friend and that's all." wanyin said as he stood up.

"A-yin! Don't be stubborn! Just confess to him." yinxue shouted as he also stood up.

"What if he'll be disgusted with me!! I can't afford his absence in my life! Let's just continue things like they were, i don't need any more drama in my life." wanyin said and was about to walk out of room but his legs halt as yinxue's words hit him home.

"But you can't tell your feelings that, a-yin.." yinxue's head hung low after he said those words.

He had enough of seeing wanyin being sad about his unrequited love always. He only wants his only friend to be happy, atleast for once.

"It's just a crush ge, it'll be gone.."

wanyin turned his head to the opposite of yinxue.

He also knew that yinxue wants happiness for his life but he can't ruin his friendship for love again.

This is the first time they fought on something like this.

"Okay! Do whatever you want! But don't come to me for this matter!" yinxue said as wanyin turned around.

"Ge..really? You too?" wanyin said as he scoffed.

"I Just wanna help you before i go!!" yinxue shouted by wanyin in annoyance.

"where?"

wanyin asked as he thought of something bad. He squinted his eyes on yinxue. Reality hit yinxue as he realised what he just said to wanyin.

"A-yin, I was gonna tell you later but..."

"Later later, when will this later come,ge? And what? you're leaving me again?" wanyin said as tears starting to dwell up in his eyes.

"It's not like I'm leaving for good... it's just some months.." yinxue said in guilt.

"You too are going to leave me? Mom said you'll be here..."

"I-I'll be back soon! That's why I'm helping you out with LiJie." yinxue said in hurry as he saw tears in wanyin's eyes.

"No! If he loves me, he'll say it by himself and you..you don't have to help me.I'll be good alone." wanyin said as he dashed out crying.

"Aish! this kid!" yinxue said as he went out after wanyin.

But, the latter wasn't there anymore to wait for him.

At wanyin's Home

( his apartment)

Wanyin came home from yinxue's house with tears streaming down his face. He placed himself on his bed and looked at the ceiling. That painting before him calmed him a bit as he stopped crying after some time. He sighed as he called his mom.

"Oh, yin, how are you?" wanyin smiled as he heard his mom's voice after so much time.

"I'm okay... what about you, mom?" wanyin asked.

"I'm also okay. What happened that you called so suddenly? Are you really okay?" His mom asked worried as he started tearing up again.

Today wasn't a good day for him. First, Jie ignored him after lunch most of the time and he acted weird. Second, he fought with his only friend and now, he doesn't have anyone beside him anymore.

"I'm okay, I'm just missing you so much.. mom.. when will you come back?" wanyin asked as he tried not to make his voice like he's going to cry.

"Oh, my baby, mom miss you too. But i can't come this month, maybe next month. I'll ask leave and we'll go somewhere." His mom said as she chuckled but wanyin was about to cry. He is hearing this for 2 and half year now. His mom is in states and he is here for 3 years alone. His mom can't come because she have a big company now to run. Working isn't easy there, She did so much hard work to be there. He felt like burdening her by telling his problems to her.

"Okay... I'll wait for you... did you ate breakfast?" wanyin asked as he saw the Sun enveloping. "No, I'll eat it now. Your mom don't even have time, she's so silly ,isn't she?." His mom said as she giggled at her own words.

"Okay..I'll hang up now and you're gonna eat it. No work for now." wanyin said as his mom giggled again.

"Okay son, I love you."

"Mom, I love you too, take care." he said as he hung up. Wanyin sighed as he placed his phone beside him.

His tears started streaming down but he didn't cared to stop them.

He just felt Lonely.

At sudden, One name came into his mind. He'll check that she is still his friend or not. He took his phone and came to a name that he don't know remember him or not. Or she changed her number? He decided to check.

He pressed call and waited...

"Hello?"

A sigh of relief made it's way from wanyin's mouth as he heard the familiar voice of her after so long.

"H-hello?" wanyin hesitated .

"A-yin? Is it you?" She asked as wanyin got shocked.

"Yes..It's me." wanyin said as he heard a chuckle from other side.

"Oh, i thought you've forgotten about me." She said.

"I also thought that but..sometimes what we think is not right." wanyin said.

"What happened? You're having a bad day right?" She said. "How you still get me, shijie. Sometimes i think you're my real big sister." He said in wonder.

"Shhh, no one have to know that I'm your secret real sister." She said as both laughed.

"thank you, shijie."

"For what?"

"For making me laugh. I really didn't thought that I'll even smile today."

"A-yin..you can call me anytime, shijie is here for you." she said and wanyin could feel the smile from the phone.

"Shijie...I want to ask you something important."

"Ask then."

"But first tell me...did you heard anything from her?"

"I'm her cousin but still she didn't contacted me yet.."

"Okay... but say truthfully as a best friend, not as a big sis."

"Okay..?"

"What if i say that I like her..?"

"........"

"Shijie! You said you'll answer me !"

"A-yin, I'll say that you should forget her. She left us, only her parents know why but they still don't say me why. And.. we don't know if she'll ever come here or not."

"I just asked 'what if', but you said this much" he said as he laughed.

"Okay, okay. But think about what i said."

"Shijie..i don't like her. I just asked 'what if'." wanyin said almost facepalming.

"Okay, now go to sleep. You have college tomorrow." she scolded him.

"Okay! I'll call you again!! Bye!"

"Bye!"

He ended call and sighed.

'I was just thinking too much. Bestfriends say these things. He thinks me as bestfriend but it don't hurt to have feelings,right?..' he thought to himself and drifted off to sleep with thoughts.

Meanwhile

At somewhere in Shanghai

"Hello? Who is it?" a girl asked as she picked up a call from unknown number.

"Jiejie....it's me.." a voice came from other side as the girl placed a hand on her mouth to stop herself from screaming at the girl on other side.

"I want to announce something to you." the voice said from the other side.

"I'm coming back."
