9 - Part C:

"Yes! Flag. In this game, you'll be playing by class. Your goal in this game is to steal the other classes' flag. It's up to you on how you'll do it. If you successfully steal a flag, the class who you stole the flag from will be your subordinates. If another class steals your flag, you and your subordinates will become that classes' subordinates. Understood everyone?"

"Yes Ms. Diana."

We said like good little children.

"Good. Now listen up closely! Here are the rules of the game."

Rules? I thought she already told us the rules.

"First rule: You have to build your own base with a twelve-feet tower to put your flag on with in twenty-four hours as soon as the game starts. If you don't complete this task, all of you will be automatically disqualified and will be force to attend supplementary classes for two weeks during your semesterly break."

So we have to build a base first.

"Second rule: In order to beat another class, you have to steal their flag and bring it back to your base. The opposing class who you stole the flag from have every right to get it back until you reach your base."

So even if our flag is stolen, we have a chance to get it back huh...

"Third rule: Once you've become a subordinate of a certain class, you are not allowed to betray them and also, you are required to fully cooperate with them."

So we should be as loyal as a dog once you become a subordinate.

"Fourth rule: If you beat another class who have already beaten another class, their flags and their subordinates as well as them are yours."

I see... That's convenient.

"Fifth rule: Conspiring with other classes is prohibited unless they became your subordinates."

So we can't ally ourselves with another class unless we beat them.

"Lastly: The game should be completed with in two weeks otherwise all of you will be forced to attend supplementary classes."

So there's a time limit huh...

"As for your food and weapons, you will provide yourself with food by scavenging."

Some of us reacted to what Ms. Diana had said.

"What?"

"Scavenging?"

"Are you serious?"

"Yes I'm serious. This is part of your training as future soldiers."

I don't know a thing about scavenging but I hope some of us do.

I think Ace has knowledge on scavenging since she's a trained assassin and assassins are like ninjas and ninjas knows scavenging.

Well in the movies, ninja training involves scavenging...

Then again, those are just movies.

Hopefully, Ace knows how to scavenge otherwise we'll starve to death.

"As for your weapons, they are provided for you."

"Sigh*"

I can't help but to sigh on relief about that.

I was expecting that we'll be making our own weapons using sticks and stones like those cavemen do.

Then again, I don't use any weapons.

More like there's no compatible weapon for me except for my fists and atomic synthesis.

That sound so cool!

"But the weapons provided are hidden and scattered all over the tropical island. So try your best to find them in order to have a fighting chance."

And there's always a catch.

Luckily, I don't use any weapon.

"As for how you'll be graded, the class who wins the game will automatically get a perfect score for the finals exams, as for the rest, they will be graded by performance."

I thought the losers would automatically fail or something.

So even if we lose the game, we still have a chance to pass the exam.

"That is all everyone."

And that's the end of Ms. Diana's explanation.

Suddenly Ms. Diana took out a device with a red button from her pocket and gives us a gentle warm smile.

For some reason, watching her do that gives me the creeps.

"Have fun everyone!"

As she said and presses the button afterwords.

Press* Zit*

Soon after, the red carpeted floor beneath us opens up like an elevator door and a gush of warm salty smelling air enters which blows my hair upwards.

After that, our seat slowly flips over.

Zit*

As it did, I was able to take a glimpse of the so-called tropical island.

The tropical island has a brown rocky mountain with a flat peak and a bunch of green trees all over.

Anyway, our seats stops moving, and we are now upside down while our head is facing the ocean.

By the way, it's my first time seeing a real ocean.

I wonder if there are any birds out here?

Suddenly, the seat belt that's keeping us stuck from our seat releases and all of us are in for a dip.

Woooooooooooosh* Splash*

It didn't took ten seconds for us to fall into the ocean.

Luckily, we have swimming lessons at our P.E class otherwise I would be drowning right now.

(Note: Linel didn't know how to swim until he was taught during their P.E)

I swim up until my head is out of the water.

Splash*

Damn the ocean is salty!

After that, I shake my head so that the hair that's covering my eyes would brush away.

Now that I can see properly, I check on how the other's are doing.

Splash*

Aeris, who was sitting beside me earlier, pops up on front of me while her bangs is covering her left eye.

She brushes her bangs with her left hand to the side and greets me cheerfully.

"Oh Linel! That was fun, wasn't it?"

I don't know how to react since I'm not sure myself if being thrown off a ship and diving into an ocean is fun.

So I just react with this...

"Kinda... I guess..."

"Isn't it? Isn't it?"

As Aeris said cheerfully.

Maybe she's the type who likes thrills.

I bet if she goes to an amusement park, the only attraction she will go to is a roller coaster or maybe the free fall.

Anyway, the others pops out of the ocean as well.

Mathias looks some what pleased while Wren looks really annoyed.

I can't blame Wren for being annoyed but what's up with Mathias?

As for Maple and Roc, Maple looks like a hyper active little kid who just had her first ride in a roller coaster while Roc looks like he's going to crap himself.

I guess Roc is not good with heights.

As for Ace and Lokki, Ace looks cool as a cucumber while Lokki looks a little surprised.

I expected that Lokki would be the same as Roc but it looks like he got more guts than him.

As for the last pair, Zack looks like he's having a blast while Kana looks stiff as ever.

As expected of those two.

Now then, that's enough observation for now.

I tell everyone what to do next.

"Alright everyone! Let's just swim to the shore and sort out our plan."

Everyone responded.

"I agree." (Aeris)

"Yeah let's!" (Lokki)

"Ditto." (Ace)

"Alright dude!" (Zack)

"Affirmative." (Kanna)

"Yesh!" (Maple)

"Let's get the hell out of here man!" (Roc)

"What ever you say my dear." (Mathias)

"Don't order me around weirdo! Hmph!" (Wren)

After that, we all swim towards the shore.
