Part B:

Outside the principal’s office…

“HOOOP! Finally its over!”

I said to myself while stretching.

“What is over young master?”

“Listening to gramps’s war stories.”

“You don’t like master’s war stories?”

“It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s just plain boring.”

“I see.”

“…”

“…”

I look at the person who has been talking to me for the past minute.

“L-Louise! What are you doing here!?”

I asked shockingly.

She answers me calmly with her usual poker face.

“Master has ordered me to serve you so I am here to serve you.”

“Oh yeah!”

“…”

“…”

I start walking.

As I did, I noticed that Louise is following me.

“Umm… So… Are you like going to follow me all the day?”

“If you ordered me not to then I won’t.”

Having her around will be convenient since I’ll be shopping for stuff and I can order her to carry the bags for me.

“I’m cool with you around so go ahead and follow me.”

“Understood young master.”

Louise and I made our way out of the staff area and into the academy center where the escalators are that connect to different floors.

We rode the escalator that leads to the second floor.

While we are on the escalator, I took out my cell phone and send a text message to Clarissa asking if she is in cafeteria 1 right now.

Few seconds after I send the message, I got a reply.

I’m used to Clarissa’s quick reply but it always make me wonder how she does it.

Anyways, I read her message.

Yes Bat Man, I’m in cafeteria 1 right now. Are you coming to visit me?

I answer with a “Well if you’re not too busy”.

Then again, after few seconds, I got a reply from her.

This is what it says.

There are not much people here so you can come visit me if you want. Well even if there’s a lot of people, you can still come visit me. I’ll always welcome you.

Reading that made me a bit flustered.

Why does she always do this?

I send her quick text message which says “Alright then. I’ll drop by.”

Once again, after few seconds, I got her reply.

Great! I’ll be waiting.

I’m not sure if that last message made me flustered or excited but my heart is beating so fast and I feel warmer than usual.

“Young master, your temperature and heart beat are abnormal. Are you not feeling well?”

Louise asked.

I look at Louise who’s behind me and saw her staring at me blankly.

I’m guessing that’s her worried look.

“No, I’m alright. It’s just the effects of the bluecherry start kicking in. So no worries.”

I said to her like I was trying make an excuse.

“Understood.”

Louise said without batting an eye.

Looks like I was able to fool her…

I think…

No use thinking about it, it will only give me a headache.

We’ve reach the bottom end of the escalator and got off.

After that, we make our way to the next escalator that leads to the first floor.

While we were riding the escalator, Louise and I haven’t said a word to each other.

This silence is making me feel awkward.

I better start a conversation to break the ice.

The only problem is, what am I going talk about with Louise who is an emotionless battle maidbot?

First of all, I dunno her hobbies nor do I think that she even has one.

Second, I don’t think she has a sense of humor so trying tell her a joke is out of the question.

And third, as I mentioned earlier which is the most important of all, she has no emotions so trying to get a good reaction from her is like begging a refrigerator to laugh at my jokes which is clearly impossible.

So what should I talk about with her?

I know! I should ask her about her hidden plasma blades.

I did just that.

“Hey Louise?”

“Yes young master?”

“About your plasma blades… Umm… Can you show it to me?”

Alright! That didn’t come out right.

“As you wish young master.”

Louise raises both of her arms like a boxer in defense position except that both her hands are open.

After that, she clench her fist.

Then suddenly…

Pshshshsht* Voom*

Two green plasma blades appeared at the back of her hand.

I couldn’t help but react like a little kid.

“Wow! That’s so cool! How did you do that?”

Louise explains to me.

“I can emit particle beams all over my body due to the particle beam generator inside me and manipulate their shape into according to what benefits me the most.”

“So you can do other things with the particle beam than making it into a plasma blade?”

“Yes young master.”

“What else can you do with it?”

“I can shape the particle beams into a plasma saber, a plasma whip, a plasma spear, a plasma axe, a plasma drill, a plasma lance and a plasma net. I can even cover my entire body with particle beams and also use it as a projectile.”

I have already seen her shoot particle beams out of her hand and seeing all the plasma type of weapons would be awesome but the thing that intrigues me the most is her covering her whole body with particle beams.

“Can you cover you whole body with particle beams like right now?”

“I’m afraid I have to decline your orders young master.”

“Huh? Why?”

“Because young master, we are currently riding an escalator and if I cover my whole body with particle beams, I would destroy the escalators which put you in danger.”

Hearing Louise explanation reminded me that we are indeed riding an escalator which made me feel dumb.

Well there is no use fretting over it now.

“Yeah you’re right, but can you show me once we get down from here?”

“As you wish young master.”

We’ve finally reach the bottom end of the escalator which is the first floor.

As soon as got off, Louise asked me to step back politely.

“Please step back young master.”

I did what she asked of me.

Then suddenly, white particle beams appears all around her body that resemble glitters just like the animation of a mage in an online game who’s trying to fill up his/her MP gauge by charging but the only different is that she is not doing any cool poses.

Pshshshshshsh*

Soon after, the particle beams around her started going towards her like they were being sucked in by a vacuum cleaner and sticks to her body like glue.

Woooooooosh*

After all the particle beams got sucked in and stick to her body, Louise is now glowing while emitting a white light.

I couldn’t help but express my astonishment.

“Holy crap! That’s so cool! You’re like a giant glow stick!”

“I appreciate your compliment young master.”

Louise said while bowing professionally.

“Hey can you change into different colors.”

“Yes young master.”

“Change into red please!”

“As you wish young master.”

The particle beams that are stuck on her body disperses in the air.

After that, red particle beams appears all around her body.

Pshshshshsh*

Then the red particle beams got sucked in towards her and stick to her body like glue.

Woooooosh*

After all the red particle beams got sucked in, Louise is now glowing red.

“That’s so cool!”

“I appreciate your compliment young master.”

“How about green?”

“As you wish young master.”

The red particle beams disperses into the air and green particle beams appeared all around her.

Pshshshshshsh*

Just like before, the green particle beams got sucked in towards her and sticks to her body.

Wooooosh*

After all the green particle beams got sucked in, Louise in now glowing green.

“Awesome!”

“I appreciate your compliment young master.”

After that, we tried a whole bunch of different colors until Louise stops and warms me that if we continue, I might have a seizure.

Anyways, we make our way towards cafeteria 1.

While we are walking, I started asking what other things that Louise can do besides manipulating particle beams and she answers me.

Here is what I have learned.

Louise can hack into security system which I already know, she can scan people and things which I also already know, she has super strength which I experienced firsthand during my first day here, she can launch miniature homing missiles from her arms, she knows twelve different styles of martial arts, she has boosters which enables her to fly, she can make delicious tea, she can clean, wash clothes, bake like a professional patisserie and cook like a five star chef.

In other words, she’s a super maidbot.

It looks like I don’t need Clarissa and Feini to do the cooking.

We’ve finally reach cafeteria 1 and honestly, I’m nervous to the core.

Why am I nervous?

Because I don’t know what to say in order to invite Clarissa nor have I invited a girl on a trip before.

Well I did invited the whole class a while ago and half of them are girls but that doesn’t count since I invited them all as a group.

Well I’m pretty sure that she will accept my invitation but Clarissa tends to say stuff to make me flustered.

Not to mention Feini will be teasing us which will make me more flustered and thus we go off topic.

Sigh! Better get this over with.
