XLVII. Unexpected reunions

The race of natural dragons was leading the group towards their home, the four of them had their eyes blindfolded, noses and ears clogged, they wanted to make sure that the group where two of the Greater Dragons were could not memorize the path that led to their home hidden from the world. "Sure, that lie is in your best interest to hide the crimes of your bosses," she snaps her fingers and the natural dragons hit Magarai and Ssaull. "There is nothing I hate more than the Greater Dragons"

"Leave them!" Alexandra demanded annoyed.

Alexandra tries to hit the dragons that had hurt her loved ones but is held back by the dragon that was behind her, the dragon that ruled the others realizes the reaction of the only human in the group, her curiosity increased by meeting this curious soft-skinned creature.

"And your beautiful lady. How did a sweet girl like you end up with nefarious creatures like them?" Lifting the human's helmet from hers he notices all the burn marks on her face. "For mother Desthy! Who hurt her ?!"

"If you don't say anything I will assume that you three are the culprits and I will distribute the highest sentence equally to everyone!" she exclaimed losing more of her little patience.

"We didn't do anything to her, please trust our words!" Said Rophttys trying to calm the dragon.

Magarai and Ssaull hesitated to answer, in Ssaull's case he remembered the first time he met the human and how he almost robbed her on her first mission, in Magarai's case he remembered when she was carried away by her anger at the death of her best friend and nearly hanged her daughter, being haunted by anger and a desire for revenge.

Magarai approached her nervous hand feeling scared, she sacrificed everything for her and did not want to be separated from her daughter again, but she knew very well deep down she knew that if her daughter when she knew the truth, Alexandra would not want anything to do with her, The dragon would do nothing to stop it just because she knew she was going to deserve the hatred of the daughter she loved so much.

"Whatever happens, you will continue to be my mother," she said to calm her mother, she saw how the oceanic dragon suffered from what could happen and if it weren't for that dragon, she would not have reached that place.

"Thank you, but I will accept any judgment you have about me after you talk to your uncle." she expressed to her daughter.

Upon entering the store she sees a man with little red hair like hers, he was drawing a picture of what appeared to be him with two people who had a baby in hand.

"Am, they told me I had an uncle here and that I should talk to him, it might sound weird, but. Are you my uncle?" she said in English hoping the man spoke the same human language like her.

The man turns to see who it was, he had long ago given up all hope of seeing his family again because of the dragons as well as returning home, the only thing that gave some peace to his wounded heart was painting what he loved, the family he held dear, and any new natural or human dragon friends he might have made.

"Who would you be in such a case to think that we are family?" The man replied in English as well and then turned to see who was speaking to him.

When he saw the girl's face, he could see the reflection of his younger sister in the young woman's face, she had inherited her mother's face a lot and the red color of her hair was unmistakable from her family. He couldn't believe it letting go of his brush, his niece was alive and had grown up into a young teenage girl who wore armor, despite the noticeable wounds on her face, he knew it was his niece because of the kinship she had with her mother.

"Alexandra"

It was all that man could say, he was still in shock to see her alive, he never imagined that he could see her again after so many years.

"Yes, and you are .."

"Your uncle, yes" the man's eyes fill with tears and he quickly approaches to hug her.

In a reflex she takes the sword from her and points it at him for fear of being hurt, she did not like strangers getting so close to her because of her experiences.

"Sorry it's a reflection, you can't imagine everything I've been through so far in my life" she puts the sword on a small table next to her and hugs her uncle, calmer than hers.

"Don't worry little one, I understand that you must have suffered a lot from your burns, but don't worry, now everything will be better. I promise you, Alexandra"

Alexandra closes her eyes happy to meet her family, being able to meet someone with the same blood as hers after so many years was something that made her very happy.
