Chapter 55: Escalating Misunderstandings

I exited the bathroom, tugging tightly on the belt of the bathrobe. I don't remember packing such an item. Where did this pajamas come from? Even the pants is a little tight.

Walking into the adjoining corridor linking to the bedroom, I find the lights dimmed and the silhouette of a person sitting in the armchair by the window. I tugged at the bathrobe, trying to cover my chest as best I could while clearing my throat to incite Darryl's attention before walking over to the armchair.

"Erhm... Do you... Have a slightly larger shirt on hand?" I placed my hand on his shoulder as he peered over his shoulder in my direction, his crimson eyes meeting mine with a serious look on his face. Huh, I guess he got over the embarrassment from earlier. That was quick. Too bad, it was quite fun teasing him about his inexperience.
