Chapter 57: Myth Or Fact?

I woke up the same way as usual, tumbling off the bed as I fell face first to the floor. I sit myself up and yawned while stretching my limbs, spying the time on the clock out of the corner of my tear filled eyes as I read that it was half past one. I jumped up from the ground in search of Aries to ask him why he didn't wake me up when I recall the incidents of the previous night or rather... early this morning?

I usually woke up around this time at noon, but I didn't turn in late because I was thinking of work related matters or my personal research like usual. Instead, the thought of Aries spending more time with Darryl constantly weighed on my mind. I tried putting it out of my mind, yet it plagued me as I tossed and turned all night before managing to find a moment of peace.
