Magical awakening 12.1

I could vaguely feel that the auctioneer had cast some spell on me. Probably teleportation or object transferring magic. Either way, when my vision came back to normal, I was sitting on a chair on an empty room.

In front of me was a luxurious couch, made of gold and some red fur. (It looks really comfortable.) Below me, a rectangular red carpet with silver edges. The room walls had paintings and animal heads. (Quite the show off, huh?)

The room door was on my left, and with a quick glance, I sensed some spell on it. (Well, it's cheaper and safer than a generic door lock.) I got up and tried to open the door. Before my hand could touch the handle, a little spark met the tip my fingers.

(Ugh. Why do things are always difficult...) I go back and sit on the chair again. The room had a good amount of ambient mana, so I closed my eyes and started training.

(I'm alive for like, a month now? Probably less. Anyway, I can feel my body growing, little by little. My muscles respond almost immediately when I pour mana on them, the ambient mana that I couldn't feel, or even see, is like an extension of my mind now. I'm stronger, far stronger.)

But something was missing. One thing that my mother imprinted on my memory, and that I had access since the beginning, but couldn't do anything about. My constellation. Let me explain.

Every living being has a constellation, the being can be a mortal, immortal, divine, or any other origin. The fact that a constellation will be fused with its soul. But what differ is the type of constellation.

Each type comes from each god, on a total of twelve: The Warrior, from the demigod of war, Argonius. The Law, from the demigod of law, Ayrios. The Lust, from the demigod of fertility and lust, Uros. The Mind, from the demigod of knowledge, Limus. The Greed, from the demigod of wealth, Kruk. And finally the Light, from the great goddess of light, Ura.

With this, we covered the six types of constellations that humans, elfs and beast people will be probably be born with. That doesn't mean that they can't have the other six, but just on extraordinary cases. The saintess is one, she has the Time constellation, from the demigod of time, Nieuni.

The remaining five are The Dark, from Prunos, The Creation, from Achylis, Ruyna, from Monetis, The Space, from Hipnosa and The Eternity, from Vastion. Nevertheless, let's focus on my constellation from now on.

All the twelve constellation come with twelve 'stars', in other words, a sphere of light that conduct mana through the mana veins inside the body. They change places from constellation to constellation, but all have the twelve. I searched my body several times, and every time, I could only find ten.

So, that could mean: My soul is deficient (Highly improbable.) Or, when I fused myself with this body, something went wrong. But if something went wrong back then, I would know immediately. On top of that, I can manipulate mana, meaning that the body and soul are fine.

Then the last possibility is that I have an unknown constellation, or so ancient that even the gods don't know about (Something I don't think is possible.) At any rate, I'll continue to train my soul and body until I can talk with mother again. When that happens, I'll ask her.

...

Around me was a thin layer of mana, fluctuating and caressing my skin. For the first time in my life, I was able to take the first step to gain control over elements: Expel the impure mana from inside me. It had a greenish color, almost like a poison.

I was so immersed on my own thoughts, that I didn't saw someone entering the room. Staring at me, with complete white eyes, the buyer number 3. I didn't panicked, but quickly retracted my mana. (How... When?)

She giggled and covered her mouth with her hand. "I've been watching you since the beginning, and you're fascinating." Her voice was... Mesmerizing.
