Demons from the Past 16.2

"I want to stay like this for a little more... Please." I stop caressing her head and get back a little to look her in the eyes. "We can stay like this the time it takes for you to get better." I hug her in the same way a mother would hug a daughter after years of working out of town and returning.

"Thank you, Kali. I'm... A little better now." I release her from the hug. "That's for the better."

'Kali', The Seventh being. She has the same face as me, the only difference is that she has a woman's body. And she dresses exactly like my mother, Achylis. A purple dress that shows a little too much.

And for some reason, I become her in my dreams. (Being a woman is... strange, to the very least. But whatever, Clio's sanity is the top priority.)

As I said, a dream. I don't become Kali, I impersonate her, inside Clio's memories.

"Sister, do you want to create something with me?" Clio is roaming around freely. She stops and uses the green fog to form a glass orb. "What do you think?" She turns her head to look at me. Smiling, she creates another orb. "Come here, let's watch the mortal realm."

I fly next to her, and I grasp the second orb. Looking inside the orb, I see a red planet. "This is the planet I created fifty years ago. For some reason, it became like this. Why?" I pretend to analyze it. (You've asked me the same thing more than three times. You know I don't know a thing about planets!)

I sigh and click my tongue twice. "Tsk, tsk... This won't do, sister. This planet is beyond salvation. You'll need to create another." She pouts and lowers her head. "Ah... I thought I had finally created something good..." She starts to cry.

(Shit.) I hug her. "Don't worry, this sister will help you create a perfect planet." (Please say you don't need help. Please say you don't need my help...) She releases herself from the hug. "If you help me every time, how can I learn something?" (Thank god!)

I smile and break the orb with my hand, it returns to its mist form and merges with the smoke surrounding her. "You're right, but you won't get any better if you don't have someone to teach you the basics." She breaks her orb too. "I guess you're right... But, we don't have much time, do we, Kall?"

I sigh and hug her. "It's always a pleasure to help you, Clio. When I have time, I'll come here again." She accepts the hug and uses Kali's dress to dry the tears going down her cheeks.

When she finishes cleaning her face, Kali is not what she sees. Instead of the sister she loves so much, it's The Third, who she is the most afraid of. Short green hair, golden eyebrows, green snake eyes, and the same fog as Clio.

"My dear daughter, why can't you be like everyone else?" Clio's pink eyes begin to glow. "I don't want to hear your voice. Please, leave." Clio prepares to attack. The Third sighs and raises her hands, showing that she would leave by herself.

The fog surrounding both of them starts to cover their body. "I hope you change your attitude soon..." The Third bid farewell to her daughter, which shows her middle finger.

...

I suddenly wake up on the ship, scaring the thug that had his hand on my pockets. He jumps backward, with my pouch in his hand. I sigh and get up, with my spear already in my left hand. The thug's smile disappeared from his face. "So, do mind giving it back?"
