Kirishima and Tetsutetsu each pull apart one end of the chain of balls. Given Shigaraki's frail body, he shouldn't be able to fight the two physical monsters of the group. However, they are now also stuck with him and have to hold him until the balls are removed.
To their surprise, Shigaraki starts to wriggle around and try to escape. "ARGHHH! You're annoying! All of you! Kurogiri! Take me out of here!" He then looks around for Kurogiri only to see him fighting two ferocious students himself. Next to this, a block of ice hurled toward him froze his legs, arms, and body.
Kurogiri, who is still dodging the attacks of both Bakugo and Togaru is oblivious of the danger lurking in the shadows readying to attack him. After several seconds of cat and mouse, Togaru looks at Bakugo as he produces a blast three times bigger than Kurogiri himself. After the cloud of smoke fades, two people can be seen. One is Kurogiri and the other is Araki holding back the unconscious Kurogiri on the floor.
Class 1-A and All Might who saw their actions were surprised by their teamwork. What they did was a very efficient and successful attempt at capturing the criminals with as much less force as possible.
While the two banter about who attacked Kurogiri more and who almost diverge him from the agreed place, Araki is pulling Kurogiri with a rope by his metal body. Shigaraki is on the side screaming how he and his mentor would kill them all if they didn't let him go. He calls out to Araki who he saw was holding Kurogiri.
"Oi! Kid! Tell your classmates to let me go and I won't hold a grudge." Shigaraki looks Araki straight in the eyes through the gaps of the finger of the hand on his face.
"Oh, I don't mind the grudge. I'm sure they don't too. Also, don't call me a kid, I am physically and mentally older than you. We are just doing our job as a hero, like what you are doing as a criminal. We're fulfilling our roles like characters in a play, so what are you getting angry for?" Shigaraki is surprised but is persistent. He threatens the two kids holding out his arms even though it is already frozen.
The other kids were about to swarm All Might for defeating the Nomu but their attention was stolen by the teachers who arrived at the school. Araki also asks his classmates to help him capture some villains while Todoroki holds out Shigaraki and Kurogiri with his ice, tased just now.
The capture was efficient as the kids were now being escorted out of the USJ where the police and their vans are waiting. Some of them are giving out their statements, some are being treated, and some are just waiting. Araki is also asked by the chief police Tsukauchi about their capture of the villain. He also warned him not to do that again, especially not outside of U.A. because he doesn't have a hero license.
"Officer Tsukauchi, I suggest you be careful. He is talking about some mentor or something." "We received the same concern from All Might." Araki complies with the process and then regrouped with Denki and the others.
"Dude, I heard you planned the fight with the boss? How are you that smart?" Denki asked him while slinging his arm to Araki's shoulder.
"What am I supposed to say? Genes? Also, it isn't that complicated, it isn't something to praise." They saw Jiro and Momo who is waiting for them sitting in a van's rear.
"You guys down for some dinner? I asked Midoriya about some good place near the school." Denki asks. Jiro and Momo just frowned and gave Denki a concerned look.
"I'm sorry, not today. My parents told me to go home for now and rest." "Same here." Denki just smiles hearing this. "How about you man?" "Maybe for a short one."
The group take their leave and the two boys went on their own.
…
A man in shadows can be seen in an alley between two buildings. He is on phone talking to someone with a very undistinguishable voice.
"We're in position. Ready to intercept the package. Waiting for orders sir." [You have my permission.]
…
After separating from Denki and walking to the train station, Araki receives a call.
"Moshi Moshi!" "Not really, I'm on my way home." "Really? Good timing. Someone interrupted my session."
Araki took another phone from another pocket and calls a person. "Auntie?" "Yes, I'm not going home for tonight." "Yes, I have my keys. Bye."
…
The next day, Aizawa arrives in the classroom full of bandages from head to toe. Seeing him, the mood of the students plummeted.
"There's so much bad news that I can tell you guys but we need to move forward. We need to prepare for another school event." Curiosity takes over the cat as all of the students start to think of possible events they can do.
"It's for the school festival." The reveal surprised everyone.
"UUOOOGGGGHHHHH!!!"
"But sir. Didn't the villain just attack us yesterday?" The students stopped in collective confusion.
"Yes, but that's the point. We can't show people, especially the villains that our system is weak just because of one incident. Else, that is an annual festival being broadcasted in the whole of Japan with all top heroes watching, so the chance of an attack is low." Everyone gets the explanation and Aizawa told them to prepare for it with all their heart for it is an annual event.
Suddenly, Aizawa gets a call from his phone with the caller being Nezu.
"Yes? Okay, I'm on my way." He then looks at the class and said, "You're free for today. If you want to train, you are free for today and the training grounds are open for you. There is just something I need to take care of."
When Aizawa is finally out of the classroom, the class looked at each other and Denki shouts, "FREE TIMEEEE!"
Everyone shouts in happiness forgetting everything they were told to and went to do their own things. Meanwhile, Bakugo went to confront Araki who was on his seat, reading a book while listening to something.
"Oi, you Arrogant Bastard. Do you think I would forget what you said to me the other day? Come with me so I can beat you up."
Denki, not knowing anything Bakugo is talking about, tries to invite and join the two men. "Hey, that is a good idea, Bakugo! We can fight each other as sparring and learn things from each other. I can still remember how Araki fought the villains on our side bare handed."
Hearing this, a tick mark appears on Bakugo's head as he wants to fight and beat up Araki for real. But before he can say anything, Araki stands up and simply said. "Sure."
