The second chapter of the campaign quests is vanishing the spider quest, the dark elf commander requests the players to find the nest of poisonous spiders that were sabotaging patron missions. The first part of the quest requires the player to find the corpse of a dark elf scout on the first-floor nest and bring a leaf-design emblem from the scout to the dark elf commander. The second part of the quest involves killing Nephila Regina, the queen spider of the nest, and then bringing the Queen Spider's Poison Fang to the dark elf Commander.

"Hey, Kirito-Kun! A cave! Is this the nest?" They entered the cave, Kirito makes a torch to give light in their way "Is this a dungeon-like the last one?" Asuna asks remembering the dungeon on the first floor of aincrad where they first met

"Nope, this is a public dungeon this is the key spot for quests from the Village after all" Kirito remembered something "Oh, considering the time since the access to the third floor opened.." They heard something coming towards to them "They are closed, let's hide to make sure that their our players" Kirito turned off the torch and they hide

"What the hell!" They heard the voice of Kibaou

"So they already here?" Asuna whisper

"I'm sure it's a party clearing guild creation quest, that's why they here" Kirito whisper "I think they are gone"

"Well, what do we do now? We don't want to face them do we?" Asuna asks

"I don't mind returning to the camp now, if we do get the proof that this is indeed a nest of poisonous spider, it should be possible to march back here with the soldiers," Kirito said

"Hold on. Hey, Kirito-Kun did you hear that?" Asuna heard some noise coming from the way where Kibaou and others go

"Fuck! Why can't that bastard climb up here!" Kibaou and others were running "Run! Run!"

"Get the hell out here!" The player said, "I've never heard about a gigantic spider!" They are chasing by the thicket Spider

Thicket Spider is a non-winged insect-type monster found in the Forest of Wavering Mist it is one of the biggest spiders of its type but is still a menacing sight. Unlike other insect-type monsters, the spider's hide is not protected by a hard shell.

"Let's get out first!" Kirito shouted "Dash to the entrance Asuna!" kirito look at Asuna " Asuna?" Asuna gets ready for the attack after Kibaou and his companion pass by they didn't notice Kirito and Asuna.

Asuna began her attack with a linear and dealt about forty percent damage with her sword skills and regular attacks. When the spider charged at her, Asuna hit the spider's fang with oblique. Then Kirito switched with Asuna but got lost in thought and glanced away for a moment. At that moment, the spider jumped into the air and as Kirito could not sidestep or counter with a heavy sword, he instead used the martial arts technique Gengetsu to kick the spider in mid-air, causing the spider to fall upside down. Asuna then finished the spider off with a linear attack.

***Dark Elf Camp***

"What do we do now?" Kirito ask they just be back at the camp after giving the leaf-design emblem to the commander

"I have a business to do"

"Huh? Like what? Don't tell me you will take a bath again?" Kirito said. Asuna glared at him and diverted her gaze in one of the tents

"Hey, Kirito-Kun is that a blacksmith shop?" Asuna pointed to the tent that can see the different types of weapons and armors. They enter the tent and they saw a black-smith who is looking at them seriously

"This black-smith Uhm.." Asuna said remembering the forest elf that they encounter

"Kinda looks like he has grudged on us Hehe" Kirito scratched his head "It's going to be fine; there shouldn't be penalties in forging. Maybe?"

"Right.." Asuna looked at the fleuret, she's still hesitant but she needs to upgrade her rapier "Please use this" Asuna handed her fleuret to the elf black-smith and accept the forge

"K-Kirito-Kun.." Asuna grabbed Kirito's hand that makes him blushed

"I'm sure it will be a great sword" Kirito smiled

*Clang clang clang clang*

After a few hammered the rapier lighten and its appearance change, the black-smith looked at the repair "Good sword" The black-smith handed the rapier to Asuna

"Waa! This is so pretty" Asuna said the appearance of her repair was completely changed

"Let me see" kirito checks the name of the rapier "So it's called Farner rapier and the max upgrade attempt is.." Kirito becomes stiff seeing the max upgrade "20?!" Kirito looked at the blacksmith who was looking at them seriously "No! Asuna that sword was imbalanced!"

"Huh?" Asuna puzzled look

"How did those happen?" Kirito asks the black-smith "It was supposed to be +1 or +2"

"Because the materials of that rapier are a rare type kind of metal, the ability of that can reach up to 20" The black-smith explains "That was the combination of the two rapiers" Kirito felt jealous his anneal blade was on its max. The old fleuret rapier and the new fleuret rapier that made in the special Iron Wind combined that's the reason why its reach up to 20

***December 15, 2022,***

"Were finally back to a familiar area" Asuna said they are now in the waterfalls in the Forest of wavering mist

"The fog is gone, so I suppose we got out from the camp well" They heard that someone was clashing "But being back to this spot means.." They look at each other and followed the noises coming from clashing

"Is that 'Begone' quest?" Asuna said they saw the squad of Lind with one of the Dark elf fighting towards the Forest elf knight

"Seems like" They are hiding behind the tree

"Um, so the same event like from us, is happening at a different instance at the same time right?"

"Right," Kirito said

"What would happen to Emilia when she saw that Dark elf Knight?" Asuna was imagining the shocked face of Emilia

"She wouldn't leave from the camp, to begin with, the system would prevent her from interacting with another instant" Kirito explains

"Now let's leave" Asuna started to walk away, they can't interact with the quest of other players "I don't want to see the end of this"

Before they leave Kirito to look again at them, he saw one of the players who was using an ax attack the elf "Don't tell me.." That player has made a scary smile when he attacks the elf, his face can't be seen because of the hood cloak that he wears

***Zumfut***

They arrived at the Zumfut the main settlement of the 3rd Floor it is located in the northeast of the Forest of wavering Mists. The Town consists of three gigantic baobab trees, which were hallowed out into many-floored structures.

When they entered the place the people there were looking at them "We are getting stared at?" Asuna said

"A certain hooded player is too famous," Kirito said looking at her "I don't think that wood works anymore" Kirito smiled

"You're the famous one!" Asuna said

"I'm infamous, not famous" They continue walking

"So that's the strongest party couple of the front line" The players around them were gossiping

"I heard the 2nd floor Boss didn't stand a chance against them" They murmur and looking at Kirito and Asuna with full of admiration

"Don't remove your hood" Kirito said

"Why? You said it was used. Right?" Asuna said

"I want to keep your pretty face for myself" Kirito murmured but he didn't know that Asuna heard that, she blushed
