CHAPTER 14.2 - Queen Spider's Nest

The Monster crunches down with all eight legs, it was planning to do a jump attack again but the damage dealer quickly hit its legs so its attempt to attack was canceled "Asuna!!" Kirito and Asuna jump and make a moon kick to the monster and Asuna make a three-hit combo of linear

"Switch!" Kirito sprints and recharge his anneal blade and attack the Boss by Sharp Nail it is a sword skill that consists of an upward right to left slash, followed by a left to right horizontal slash ending with a downward right to left diagonal slash, an alternative execution of the skills consist of three vertical slashes, a moments later the monster become fragments.

"Victory!!" The entire player was happy. The Boss of the floor was defeated at 13:1 on December 21 by a forty-two-member raid after a fifty-three-minutes battle, with no casualties and Kirito claiming the last attack bonus.

"Nice job Blackie!" Agil commended Kirito. They call him Blackie because he wore all black, instead of calling him Beater

After the battle, Kirito and Asuna climb the stairs to the 4th floor to activate the teleport gate. They are now in the double door and about to enter the 4th floor

"Hm Kirito-Kun. I'm curious about this, what about the sculpture?" Asuna pointed at the sculpture-like painting that curved in the double door gate of the entrance to the 4th floor "I'm sure you've seen this while you were a beta tester, right?" Asuna noticed that the design of the door on every floor was different

"To be honest, I've seen this door, but I didn't pay attention to this relief" Kirito stared at it intently "But it's way different than the one back then—Hey Asuna!"

"There's a lot of places I want to show you but.." Kirito look at the water and started to think

"Why are you evading it?" Asuna pouted

"That's not it, it's just the path I know is.." Kirito pointed to the water "Below here"

"What do you mean?" Asuna's eyes widened as she looked at the water "Eh? That means that the path to the city is through the river?"

"That's right" Kirito nod

"Ah! What about the cliff?" Asuna pointed to the cliff that connects the waterfalls and the river

"I'm not sure, no climbed over it during the beta testing, the stones were brittle that you'd plunge to your death"

"We might have over-looked for something" Kirito started to think

"But there's nothing else except the cliff" They turned their gaze to the gazebo-like entrance of the 4th floor where they came from "Isn't there something over there?" Asuna pointed to the entrance of the 4th floor; there was a tree beside it

"Eh?" Kirito looks at it "That's it!" Kirito started to run towards the gazebo

"Hey! Kirito-Kun! Wait up!" Asuna followed him

"Look over there!" Kirito pointed the tree

"What did you find?" Asuna turned her gaze at the top of the tree "What's that? What a weird shape" There is a donut-like thing in the tree "There's a hole in the middle" Asuna came up with the idea " I think it's a donut tree?" Kirito look at her

"What kind of imagination is that Asuna?"

"Or maybe a fruit? It looks delicious. But, what about it?"

"Just watch, if I'm correct" Kirito started to approach the tree

"Geez, what's with you?"

"You'll find out when the fruit falls" Kirito did some stretching "1..2..3!" Kirito started to push the tree to fall the fruit

"Geez," Asuna sight looking at Kirito and started to approach the tree "Move aside Kirito-Kun" Asuna kick the tree "AHHH!!" And the fruit like a donut but ten times bigger than the donut fell from the tree and Kirito quickly caught it "That's the easiest way"

"Thanks to you we've obtained this" Kirito shows the fruit to her

"So, what are we going to do with the fruit?" Kirito handed her one of the fruit

"Just watch, you'll know soon enough" Kirito look at the fruit it was color blue "The part is was connected to the branch, at this spot you can blow as hard as you can" Kirito blew it and after a few seconds it becomes big "Success" Asuna was looking at him in amazement "See now you understand, right?" The fruit becomes life preserver ring

"I see a floating ring!" The amazement can be seen in her face

"That's right, you try it too"

"O-ok!" Asuna started to blow the fruit and afterward it become big "Done"

"Yosh! Let's swim!" Kirito and Asuna were running towards the river

"Ah! I need to get ready, please wait a moment" Asuna started to stretch "Okay! Let's get going, shall we?" Asuna was about to swim but Kirito stopped her

"Wait! Asuna!"
