CHAPTER 20.1 - Fallen Elves

"Asuna! Kouki-Kun! what do you think about these clothes?" Lisbeth came after changing her clothes Asuna is the one who personally choose the clothes

"That was nice uniform for the black-smith," Kouki said

Lisbeth blacksmith uniform looks more like the uniform of a waitress; a dark red top with puffed sleeves and a flared skirt of the same color, combined with a pure white apron on the top of it, as well as a red ribbon atop her chest

"Wow! You look so cute Lis, now you are a blacksmith" Asuna said "How I wish I could wear that same clothes too but I can't be wearing that in the battle could be a distraction for the other players" They are imagining things if Asuna wear that same kind of dress to maybe the front-line player would be always looking at Asuna

"Yeah that's not for you" Kouki "It's getting dark we should go now" After leaving the shop they decided to go to the teleportation gate, Asuna will go to the 4th floor while kouki on the 3rd floor and Lisbeth will be left here at the beginner's floor

"Thank you so much again for saving me," Lisbeth said

"No problem, what are friends is for?" Asuna was now standing on the teleportation gate and about to teleport Rovia "Hey! Kouki-Kun sends me a message if you already have any information about that PK thing"

"Alright, keep safe" Kouki nod

"Teleport to Rovia!" When Asuna arrived at Rovia Town on the 4th floor it was already dark, she started to walk on the in where she and Kirito stayed "Uhm, Kirito-Kun?! I forgot were going to meet today" She started to run and when she was about a few blocks to the inn she saw Kirito standing outside the inn so she approached him "Sorry Kirito-Kun! There's something happened" She was gasping an air. When she looks at Kirito's face he was angry

"You know I'm waiting for you a couple of hours assuming that you just oversleep then I found out that you are missing again!" Kirito shouted, "Don't you know how worried I am?!"

"You're worried at me?"

"Of course I am, were party right?" Kirito said and look away while Asuna make a small laugh "Stop laughing!"

"Okay Mr. Kii-boy" She imitates Argo "Come on I'll threat you dinner"

***The Next day***

"Ahh Good morning Kirito-Kun.." Asuna greeted Kirito when they meet in the lobby of the inn

"Morning Asuna, wait what happen to you?" Kirito asks looking at Asuna's haggard face

"Do I look dreadful? I didn't sleep yesterday and last night I sleep late and now I feel a headache" Asuna yawns. They heard different and loud noises coming from outside

"What was that?" Asuna ask and when they came out they saw a lot of players looking at the dock, so because of curiosity they walks in the crowded people and now when they saw the two big gondola's of two guild

"Let's see who the fastest gondola was!" Kibaou said to Lind

"So there again, planning a competition," Kirito said. The loud noise coming from the players who cheered them can be heard in the dock "I think we should leave" They boarded their gondola and Kirito ran it, while Asuna was seated on the front

"What a nice breeze, I'd said you're getting better at this" Asuna closed her hazel eyes and hold her long hair

"Well, thank you. So what now? Do we keep going?"

"With steering practice? With the quest. We've got the gondola now" Asuna turned her back to Kirito

"Yeah I think we should continue the next chapter of the quest" Kirito continue managing the gondola and leave the Rovia, they saw a cave and entered there it was a dungeon outside the city

"It's dark, I'm going to slow down," Kirito said

"You better not bump the Emilia on the rocks. Never!" Asuna handed her dagger which make Kirito a bit nervous

"Y-Yes Madam" After a few minutes they ended on the dead-end

"Kirito-Kun you hear that?" Asuna used her hearing skills "I heard a people talking more than one, can you row without making any sound?"

"Alright"

"Can you tie the Emilia to those rocks and go take a look?" Asuna pointed to the darkest side of the cave to avoid getting any attention from someone. After tying the gondola they followed the noises and saw a people

"I never expected to see such a huge cavern in this cave.." Kirito whispered "Look at their ears" Kirito was shocked "Fallen elves! What are they doing in a place like this" The fallen elves what another tribe or kind of the elves that can be encountered in the fifth floor to the ninth floor of the aincrad, in the Beta their hideout was on the land so he was shocked seeing them inside the cave "Can you read their names, Asuna?"

"Hmm, they're too far" Asuna tried but she cannot see even she used a skills

"Too bad I was hoping a name or rank could give us some clues," Kirito said still looking at them "Why guild people talking to the fallen elves?"

"The guild people are coming back," Asuna said

"We can't match their speed! We have to hurry before they stop us" kirito said "Asuna when I give a signal hop off and tie the line" Kirito said he saw a door

"H-Hey F-Fine O-Okay! But what is your plan?" Asuna followed his instructions

"Will hide behind that door" Kirito pointed to a double door

"But what about the Emilia?"

"There's the door Asuna!" Asuna jump off the boat and tied it. Kirito equipped a piece of Clothe and he was to cover the gondola using it "Let's pull this over the Emilia!"

"How is a sheet of cloth going to hide a boat?" Asuna asks while helping Kirito hide the boat using the cloth. After they put the cloth the whole boat has become invisible

"What?! It turned visible?" Asuna was amazing she can't see the Emilia

"I'll explain later. There! Now hide to the big window!" Kirito commanded. When they inside the double door they heard the guild people passing by and afterward they were gone

"Thank goodness, they already left. By the way what with that cloth?" Asuna take a deep breath

"That one was Argyro's sheet, it is a cloth made of silk from a rare aquatic spider. That cloth will be hide anything it cover's, but only in a place surrounded by the water"

"That clothes and this door saves us," Asuna said. Kirito opened the door

"Okay the coast is clear, let's get back to the gondola" They came out

"We've got to figure out what it is the fallen elves are getting up to" Asuna yawn

"Just don't snore while we're hiding okay?" Kirito said

"I don't snore! And don't you get sloppy and give away our location" Asuna pouted

"Okay, I'm teasing c'mon, let's get sailing" They hop in the gondola and go to the dock "All right! Now if we used that same cloth again we should.. Huh?" Kirito look at his items and was about to use again the sheet to cover the gondola again "The durability gauge dropped a lot more than I thought" Kirito pointed the sheet to Asuna "That was just from five minutes of use, that means it can only hide our sheep for thirty-minutes or saw"

"We'd better search quickly, then" Asuna and Kirito followed the fallen elf that they saw earlier
