CHAPTER 28.1 - PK-Gang

The Mournful Wraith has a two attack sequence, the first attack sequence starts with her putting her hands to her mouth just before she tries to bite you, which has the chance of paralyzing you. The second attack sequence starts with her stretching her hands behind her just before she tries to swipe at you. When she moves, she becomes transparent and does not take damage.

"A-Astral m-monster.." Trembling Asuna fell to the floor "Kyaaa!!!" She screams in horror and her scream eco on that floor. She accidentally touched something and suddenly the floor opened and she fall "Eh? Kyaaaa!!" She looks at her back "A pitfall? Shit, I won't make it in time" She immediately equipped a rope and used it and throw it to the opening on the trap floor where she was falling, and when it hooks she felt a bit relief "I got it!" But the opening suddenly closed so she falls on the ground "Ow, so I didn't make it huh? I'm glad it wasn't that tall" She looks at the hook of the rope "But the rope came off due to the shock how do I get back?" She looks at the trap floor again and when she was about to retrieve her rapier there is a monster comes and took her farner rapier.

It was a Sly Shrewman a looter monster found in catacombs beneath Karluin on the 5th floor of aincrad, it is a barely fifty centimeters-tall humanoid creature with bluish skin, a rodent-like extended snout, and large yellow eyes

"Ahh? My farner rapier!" Asuna followed the Sly Shrewman "No! Wait!" The monster runs inside the deep part of the catacomb "This is bad to be unharmed inside the dungeon" She dash and followed the monster who was snatching her rapier "I found it! Give it back!" Asuna had nearly caught the thief when she suddenly stepped into a puddle and lost her balance. Having lost sight of the monster

"I was so close to retrieving it.." Asuna touched her skirt and it was wet and dirty "This is the worst that was my beloved sword" She fell to the ground "What do I do?" She feels scared, this is her first time again feeling scared after being alone and suddenly remembered Kirito "K-Kirito-Kun.. Did my heart become weak after spending time together with Kirito-Kun? Compared to when I first started" She was talking to herself "But I won't give up, I'll retrieve my sword and get out of here alive? But what should I do?" She started thinking "For example, back then Kirito-Kun used his finger and use materialize all items if I used that.." She was in deep thought "No, if I did that I'm sure that Sly Shrewman will be back to steal items it'll just make things worse. The option is to find that mouse and retrieve my sword, for that I need a weapon"

Asuna started scanning her items and saw her Iron rapier "I found it!" She equipped it and inspect the rapier "When I was a Nob I didn't know anything and brought a whole bunch of them, I threw them out every time one broke, and this is the last one. I should've treated it well. I'm sorry.." She was talking to her Iron rapier "But please help me.." She equipped earrings and the necklace that she got earlier she put it on the floor "If I purposefully drop items that mob will fall for the trap because it's in their nature to steal stuff. Now fall to your temptations and come over here!" She prepared herself and waited for a minute but she didn't see it "It's not coming?" She sight however she saw shadow "Oh well, why? It is on guard because it felt my gaze?" She looks at the Sly Shrewman that was looking at her from far so she turns around used her senses if the monster will approach her "It's here, three more steps. Now!" She heard the footsteps on her back and turned around and attacks the monster by charging it a linear when it hits the monster it become fragments.

Asuna checks the drop items from the Sly Shrewman "Balloon mushroom, shrew tail, and unknown necklace.. Wahh it's a wrong one this is not the Sly Shrewman who stole my farner rapier.." She equipped the last drop items that she got "What is this? Wad paper?" Asuna started pissing off and about to throw the wadded paper "Ahh! Wait? Something was written on it?" She inspects the paper "It's too hard to read" She didn't expect the next thing to happen the ring that she equipped was started lightning. Asuna suddenly remembered what Kirito said that it was a big help and encourage her to equip it a good thing that she followed him. She used it to lighten the paper "What are these numbers 29, 22:00 B3F (181,203)" She check the map if it was connected on this paper

"B3F probably refers to the 3rd floor of the underground basement and the other numbers are coordinates? Hmm.. 22:00 means 10 pm and 29 refers to date" She stared at the paper "It looks like a letter that points to a place and time of meet up but why did they cross out the number and threw it away?" The number 3 was replaced by the number 2 "There is a messaging system on the SAO. It's weird no matter how I think about it.." She sigh even she tried to understand what was written on it she can't "So why would someone purposely write in on a paper? It's near here, I'll check it out" She followed the coordinates and after ten minutes she saw a safe zone and it was about two meters away from her "Someone's coming.." She whispered and heard someone's coming so she immediately hides.

The two cloaked men arrived at the meeting place "Hey there!" The man greeted the other man and Asuna recognized the man who greeted the other man who was already their seating and waiting that was Morte "You're early today did I make you wait?" Morte said

"I don't care about the waiting time but it was troublesome to get here, that includes writing the letter too" The man sounded like he was pissed off "I don't like writing with a pen couldn't we have used the messaging system?" The man equipped his dagger

"No-no-no. If we did it would've left history, it'd be a huge trouble if it were exposed" Morte explain "Right now I'm trying to lay low"

"I see.. So they had evil intentions for not leaving any evidence behind in the messaging logs.." Asuna whispered to herself, she was attentively listening to their conversation

"Fine, I get it," The man who was talking to Morte said

"Just to confirm.." Morte pointed him "You weren't tailed or anything, right?" He just wants to make sure that everything was safe and clear

"Tsk! isn't that why we're here? Hiding doesn't work on the astral type or I would've been attacked on the way here" He sigh

"You've got a point" Morte seat next to him "Let's get down to business, shall we? So, what about the thing we discussed?"

"It's going well, our forces will charge in on the day after tomorrow" The man was still looking closely at his dagger "When the countdown event begins!" He laughs evilly

"Ohh that's good" Morte smiled "The weather is better than the 3rd and 4th floor, after all, Kibaou-Chan and Lind-Chan we need to hit here or else it'd be boring"
